I don't generally post threads. Most people touch on the topics that I tend to talk on, but I haven't seen this posted on ATS yet, and I apologize in advance if I only missed it.

I want to post this, primarily to give kudos to those who made this video (though it be an act of hypocrisy on their party's part), but mostly as a wake up call to those who seem to be for selling our debt to China, Korea, and India, by voting in those who would continue this kind of reckless behavior, all in the sake of "quickly fixing the US economy".

Please show the ACTUAL tax rates that have gone down.

Last I knew, since January 2007, the US national debt has run $5 Trillion dollars.

The last two years, the average national debt is $1.5 Trillion.

Please explain your comment.

The only tax rates that have gone up are the Cigarette taxes. Now, unless you're a chain smoker, you're taxes haven't gone up. The truth of the matter is, this thread isn't about taxes really, its about those who would vote in the very people who sell this country off piece by piece.
The previous administration sold our net worth to the very people who have been trying to economically crush us for decades.

Personally I think Cigarettes, Booze, and Soda should be taxed to hell and back. I'm talking a 100% increase.

And since you brought it up, taxes have gone up. Just because they were UNLAWFUL taxes, it seems the government likes to break the law. If you do not understand UNLAWFUL, please show me in the Constitution where any product can be taxed at higher rates than other products.

Again, like they say in Missouri, SHOW ME.

And if the taxes do not work, a little shove is what comes next right?

I personally think they should tax elitist attitudes at the rate commensurate with the level. With yours, you would probably have a 95% tax rate.

I am still waiting for ONE tax rate that has gone down.

Also, I would also like to see proof that the deficit has gone down.

How bout the THOUSANDS of taxes in the Obama Care bill?
How bout the Hundreds in the Financial Reform bill?

I get it, you're pissed about your smokes, but you're talking about "potential" tax increases, which will likely not happen. Through spending waste costs that have been cut, these Obama programs will be paid for via saved money that is usually wasted on nonsense. The rest will be paid for an increase in taxes on the wealthiest 1%.

Obama claimed that health care would cost more under the continued spending and tax breaks that are robbing this country blind. Filibustering by the GOP is another reason why taxes will go up. The GOP sending jobs over seas is yet another reason why the Taxes will go up, and there's the selling of our debt to China, India, and Korea being another reason, illegal wars which cost fortunes to wage, and even more fortunes to rebuild afterwards, all of this paid on your and my dime. All of this done by the previous administration, blowing through a surplus like it was burning a hole in their pockets. A surplus, I'll remind you, that was built up by Clinton. A President that the GOP couldn't wait to impeach for the most trivial bull$h!t in American history. Why couldn't they wait? Because he was interfering with their plans to bankrupt the nation so that they could swoop in and take over. All a part of their NWO scheme.

The Right Wing, the "Tea Party", both complain that the fixes aren't happening fast enough, but sat idly by while eight years passed, in which we as a nation crumbled like Building 7 (IE> for no reason that couldn't have been anything but some malicious attack by our own government.)

Do I think Obama is a puppet? Most would say "Yes", but I don't think so. I think he was put into office by the same puppet masters that put Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, etc etc into office, but what happens if you don't play ball once that office is given? You get impeached for said "Trivial bull$h!t and/or you get accused of being one of the enemy.
The point in fact is; taxes have gone down. I'm looking to get a record return this coming tax season, but the increases that you're complaining about are on non-necessity narcotics, and on medical plans (which their taxes can be bypassed, if the GOP learns to be team players, instead on wallet liners).
I made a mistake thinking that Patriots who locate and comment on this thread, so I wash my hands of this post. The fact is; you cannot be a Democrat, a Republican, and most certainly not a Tea Party member and have the Countries best interests at heart. The entire idea of a party suggest an element of mob mentality. And the Mob has always been fickle.

A statement like that says a lot about your mindset. There are many things people do that could be considered ignorant - by someone. However, it is their body so therefore it is their right to do with it as they see fit. Imposing a tax for doing so is Tyranny with a capital T.

Spare me the "cost of medicine goes up for everyone else" crap. Because it's just that - crap.

In 2009 the IRS collected $900 Billion in Federal Income Taxes. Who knows how much they sent back as refunds.

That Revenue for the Federal Government is just about enough to pay it's annual Debt INTEREST payment. Not much money left over for anything else.

So what is funding the Federal Government along with Social Security, Medicare, Food Stamps, Section 8....etc???


The Printing Press. We must print Trillions every year or the United States won't exist. Why did Barrack take out a loan on the 2014 Food Stamp funds to get Billions to keep Unionized Teachers and Police working?

Did any of you read the "healthcare" bill Congress passed without reading? I did. There was 1 sentence in it that explained the rush to pass it:

""It is the sense of Congress that the funds created by this act be reserved for Social Security""

Since the cat has been let out of the bag Congress has since removed that sentence from the bill. But now we know why they were in a rush to pass it. To have a future cash flow of which to list as collateral to fund today.

You can't have 70 million baby boomers on Social Security/medicare, 10 million older generation still on SS along with the SSDI disabled. 50 million on food stamps. 10 million in the military, Federal civil service, Federal contractors, 45 million illegal immigrants getting section 8 along with free school for their kids & EMTALA Act free healthcare at the Emergency Rooms.

We've got more people sucking than paying in. I laugh when people say the Deficit "went down". Sure it did.
