I don't know if you would consider Karl Rove a political expert. Still I find this article surprising to come from a Conservative. Do you agree with Karl Rove?
Source

Karl Rove doesn't think Sarah Palin has what it takes to be the nation's next commander in chief. In an interview with London's Daily Telegraph, the GOP strategist and former top adviser to George W. Bush says Palin lacks the "gravitas" to be president. Rove cited in particular Palin's upcoming foray into reality TV, implying it's not becoming of someone who wants to be in the White House. "There are high standards that the American people have" for the presidency, Rove told the Telegraph. "They require a certain level of gravitas. … They want to look at the candidate and say, 'That candidate is doing things that [give] me confidence that they are up to the most demanding job in the world.'"

Rove is a Rino, everyone thinks Chaney was the man behind the curtain but it was really Rove pulling the strings.
He doesn't like any of the new conservatives. He gets pissed anytime one of the new young guns takes out one of his Rino buddies.

Rino? Rino buddies?
Elaborate what you're saying here. I believe Rove was one of the few pulling the strings. Every President seems to be nothing more then a puppet.

Giving Sarah Palin Nuclear launch codes sound like the best idea yet, NOT!

Who would really want to do that???

She was the one going off on how we need to keep drilling for oil when the Gulf of Mexico was being flooded with oil....what an idiot....

Rove(spelled R.I.N.O.) isn't half as smart as he thinks he is; however, he's right. Palin didn't have what it takes to run Alaska, let alone the nation. Is her heart in the right place? Maybe, maybe not. That's not the point... She is not smart enough, or politically savvy enough, to ever be president(and she is unelectable, imo). Washington would eat her alive in about 3 sec. That isnt to say she doesn't have any redeeming qualities. Palin has proven herself to be a good "stumper" and has really given the tea party/conservative movement a lot of gusto.

That is why I say here and now Palin For RNC Chair. Micheal Steele is a joke. I think she could do good things as the head of the RNC, but president? Never.

Rove was smart enough to manipulate the american public into giving control of this country to the republican neocons TWICE and to let them run the country into near bancruptcy. He was also smart enough to trick the american public into believing it was the democrats and Obama that did it. He is an absolute spinmaster and one of the most dangerous people in the american political arena.

What he is up to here is an attempt to keep the republican support base from fragmenting between the tea party and the gop. Just like Nader does to the democrats, republicans running independent will take support away from the endorsed gop candidate. He is looking out for the republicans and Sarah Palin and her loonies are a real threat to the number of votes the republicans will get against the democrats.

She is psychopath enough to be president of usa, but he is right, no way is she president material.

But i say again, to be president you would have to have the psychopath tendenies that she has. I do not like her one bit, so i could not care less, if obama is pres by the way.

Rove is correct with his understatement. Palin is all mouth and no substance.

Well, anytime a mouthpiece for the likes of Bush, I would think that MAYBE some on the left would give a second look into why Rove would start to bad talk her.

Oh sorry, I must be mistaken that people actually think for themselves.

Anything to perpetuate the perceived group think model. Wonder why no one even thought TWICE about who the statement came from.

Hey, I found Bush to be a statist jerk. Now I know most of you do not like my positions, so are you going to ask why I would say such a thing, or are you going to just accept anything I say about Bush, because it reinforces your group think?

Maybe some of you should ask questions, about the information you get from certain avenues of dispersal.

Maybe ask yourself that there are those in BOTH of the major parties that do not want people in government, that mean to decrease the power and control that government has. Then maybe ask yourself why both parties seem to push the EXACT same agenda.

Or you can just bury your head in the group think model.

Here is a good explanation of that-www.indoctrinate-u.com...

There are locations to watch the whole thing, I will not supply those. You can find them.

Maybe get out of that box you and others have created to place yourself into.

Labels and the Boxes they put us in!

I don't like Palin, as a politician. Even if I did though, and I liked her policies, she certainly would not be someone I'd feel comfortable having as President. Obama...I think even if you hate him, you know he'd get the job done in tough times, same with Hillary Clinton. But Palin...would be a liability in a tough situation.

Karl Rove is a Neoconservative, Neo means new, the ‘New Conservatives’ hijacked the Republican Party after Ronald Reagan’s presidency ended. During the ‘60s the Neoconservatives were Trotskyists, Marxists, Socialists and Democrats during that era but when the Anti-war Liberals drove them out of the Left they joined the GOP. At first the Paleoconservatives, Paleo means old, the ‘Classical Conservatives’ were reluctant but willing to invite them into the party.

Eventually tensions exploded between the two but Reagan was able to subdue the tensions but soon the Neocons started to take over the GOP and began to label the Paleoconservatives as racists, anti-semites and Southern reactionaries. Attacks that were only done by the Left at the time were coming from the supposed ‘right’ aimed at their fellow Conservatives.

Soon the war began for the heart of the GOP and the Paleoconservatives lost to the Neoconservatives who were more in favor of big business, military interventionism, welfare policies, tax and spend, and other Left and big government initiatives that Paleocons despised. But they were forced out of the party and into a few corners of academia and the southern populists.

Paleocons were strongly against Free Trade, they supported an Isolationist foreign policy, limited government, cultural conservatism, traditionalism and patriotism. We have seen a rise in Paleoconservative points of view coming from the Tea Party with opposition to Free Trade, opposition to interventionism and support for cultural conservatism coming to the forefront again.

Paleoconservatives derive their policies from the Conservative Democrats and Republicans of the 1920’s who kept the US out of the League of Nations and slashed the Income Tax and government spending. Karl Rove is a member of the Former Trotskyists known as Neocons, he is not a real Republican and not a real Conservative, 90% of GOP politicians have no business inside the GOP.
