The CBS number for Beck, 87,000, was absurdly low.
The park number of 60,000 was absurdly low for Stewart.
It looked like they both got equal amounts of people.
Considering how the country is pretty evenly split ... that makes sense.
Two or three hundred thousand for each rally. Both were good days for America.

I'm going by what I saw. It looked the same to me. At the very least, the numbers playing in the media of 87,000 (Honor) and 60,000 (for Sanity) are silly.

I can't believe I read through this entire thread and all the bickering about numbers and this and that. I am going to put it bluntly, your all being played, your all acting stupid. I'd like to say your all being stupid but that would probably skirt on the fringes of t&c violation so I will leave it at that. Beck had his rally, which was successful for him. Then along comes the 2nd rally from the unions, then along comes this rally. Can't anyone of you see that all they are doing is trying to play you against each other, they don't give a crap about anything else. Sure I supported the beck rally but when he started going off the deep end with the religious crap he lost my interest. I have had enough of that jammed down my throat no thanks for any more of it. But the union and Stewart rally are nothing more than a show, to do exactly what is going on here right now, infighting, thats exactly what this whole country is all about right now and I am pretty sure it's been set up that way for a reason......

The Tea Party was a great thing. What was said, the rallies, everything was bringing people together. I went to a tea party rally last 4th of july. Every political leaning, race and creed were there all together. It was great. Then the restore honor rally took a hard turn to the religious and I had to bail. I'm not against that kind of thing. To each their own. But what it's becoming just isn't me.

I am bringing this thread out of mothballs because um apparently American like totally went more insane if that is possible considering current events of today.

Where is Stewart today? Nowhere but Promoting that "nouveau" movement that just so happens to be left.
