Cairo, Oct 28: Following the US-France ally in Afghanistan, al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden threatened France to kill their citizens as the country killed Muslim women and children in Afghanistan.

"It is a simple equation: As you kill, you will be killed. As you capture, you will be captured. And as you threaten our security, your security will be threatened," stated Laden through a tape posted on Al-Jazeera's website.

In the audio tape, he also claimed that the kidnapping of five French citizens in the African nation of Niger in Sep 2010 was a reaction to what he called France's oppression of Muslims.
