A Lurker's Howdy

Hello all,

I've been lurking here for about a year now. Figured I'd finally get around to actually interacting with the community.

I'm an experimental condensed matter physicist who loves toying with outlandish ideas. If you understand my name, you probably know what I do. I'm ever a skeptic but the issues of ETs and "fringe" science have always interested me. Never experienced anything on the order of most ET-related claims here, but I've certainly encountered events that I cannot currently reconcile with my scientific understanding.
