This post focuses on Global warming from an astronomical view revealing that the sun is the major contributor, not man. If the Sun, and how it affects us has changed, has the sun by its relative position and thermal output changed? Could a slight tilt of the earth, as reported by the Inuit people and scientists, possibly be part of that formula affecting the Albedo? (Albedo is the reflectivity of something, in this case the earths reflective qualities to deflect the suns energy out into space which would normally causes heat buildup on earth) Please read the notes under this video to grasp the importance of what this claim states.

Scientists affirm that the earth did tilt at the time of the Chili Earthquake, but did the earthquake cause the Earth to tilt, or did the tilt cause the Earthquake?

This is a link to some interesting data supplied by an unknown author, supporting the claim of the earth tilt using gathered observation. Though this author believes the tilt to be caused by water shift due to melting glaciers, one question is not answered by his observations. That question being, ‘what melted the glaciers to cause the tilt?’ However, if the tilt were occurring because of an outside source, something affecting the earth outside our influence, but within our solar system, all questions would be answered.

This first link takes us to CO2 and Temperature graphs provided by PBS revealing current increases of both here on earth, but more important, they reveal a cycle of reoccurring events over a period of many years. Please notice the relationship between heat and CO2 especially in last chart. In this link current levels of CO2 and temperatures are far above any other time in the last 450,000 years but are similar in proportion.

Earth’s Albedo In Decline – NASA –Short quote from the article - “Over the 4-year span (2000 through 2004), the CERES instrument measured an albedo decrease of 0.0027, which equals 0.9 watt of energy per square meter retained in the Earth system.”

A .9 Watts equals 3.0709274 BTU’s per square meter increase. The surface of the earth has approximately 120 trillion square meters, therefore the increase in is approximately 368,511,288,000 BTU’s. One could argue that sunlight only hits one third of the earth at any given time. OK, but one third is still a lot of BTU’s. (British Thermal Units) In other words, to produce one third of these BTU’s a 30,000 BTU furnace would consume 2,047,080.20483 gallons of propane per hour. - NASA

The climate doesn't seem to be such a hot topic around here lately....

I hope it's temporal.

You should take a look at one of my recent threads called : The CLOUD project.

You will learn about a CERN study that is currently happening on the effects of cosmic / solar radiation on cloud formation.

Please ? don't forget to bump it if you take a look.

A shift or tilt is probably not happening. Well... Not noticeable anyway.

The earth does hold on to more heat because of our carbon emissions, but on 3 separate occasions in earths history, carbon levels only got up 800 years after the initial warming. A fluke according to a lot of others.

The Suns activity doesn't have much of an effect... Well not the magnetic activity anyway they are always talking about and cause sun flares and spots.
Sun light is what generates heat and provides the energy we use on Earth. The sun didn't shine less shiny and we even got more of it do to the lack of sun spots.

IMO. ( I'm no expert )
The earths oceans absorb the most energy. Almost all of the energy gets absorbed and a little gets reflected back to space. The oceans are the earths thermostat. When ocean temperatures start to change rapidly, I'd start worrying.

Thanks for posting.
