I did add a certain member as being my friend, so he is on my “My Friends list” now, but for some to me unknown reason I do not appear in his “I'M A FRIEND OF” list?
I did try it several times, but with the same result.

What could it be that I am doing wrong

Currently each profile only shows who that member has friended and not those who the member has been friended by. I don't know if this is a permanent thing or not.

I do miss being able to see which members have chosen me as a friend though.

The answer is that "friend-adding" can be done in one direction or both. There are two lists, one for each direction.
If you add "John" as a friend, then John appears on your list of Friends, and you appear on John's "I''m a Friend of" list.
If John adds you as a friend, then it goes the other way round.
If you add John as Friend AND John adds you as a Friend, then John's name appears on both lists.

PS I apologise, my answer is nonsense, because I misread your query.
The information may still be useful to somebody, so I won't delete it.

It's OK, they've just moved it. If you click on "Friends" in your profile, the list of people who have Friended you is on the left as you scroll down.
Whereas the ordinary list of Friends you have chosen yourself remains on the main profile page.

Hi Rising Against and Heff, when you open your profile you only see your so called “My Friends” list, but when you open this link (friends) as posted in the line above in your profile.

spacevisitor profile (posts) (threads) (friends) (rivals)

you will find your "I'M A FRIEND OF" list.

Sorry DISRAELI, I missed your reply.

Your answer is not nonsense, and what you describe there is correct.
But despite that the member I have added as a friend my name do not appear in his own "I'M A FRIEND OF: list ??

I only meant my comment was nonsense in the sense that it wasn't quite relevant..
I was telling you what was supposed to happen; but you knew that already, as I realised when I re-read the OP, and your problem was that it wasn't working properly. Hence my mild self-criticism for hasty reading.

No problem, the same did obviously happen to me, because if I had read a less hasty, I would not have missed your good replies.
