If one more person gives me a Wikipedia link I'm going to scream. Come people. Get serious about your debate here.
To stereologist,
I'm done debating the issue of the constant speed of c. You are comparing apples and oranges and you don't even realize it. Space is not a void.
Vacuum, yeah. Void, no. The constant speed of light in a vacuum is perfect for the laboratory as a benchmark or "yardstick" for gauging other
variables that are subject to manipulation to the forces of the earth being electromagnetically charged and spinning at 2000+ miles per hour (the
"inertia of the observer"). As far as I am aware, outer space is not empty. It is not void of dust, gas, large objects, black holes, etc., etc.
etc....... Therefore, light's journey through the hundreds, thousands, millions, and billions of years and subsequently it's journey the inordinate
amount of "stuff" in space IS EFFECTED by the these variables.
The following link is a paper issued by Dr. John Webb of the School of Physics, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. I am aware that he
is a Theoretical Physicist and is a strong supporter of the string theory and a multi-dimensional universe thusly, making it seem counter intuitive
for me to post this linking in the light of how hard I came down on Dr. Kaku. The difference between these two men is marked and I will not delve into
the subject further than to say I respect Dr. Webb and his legitimate and open minded research far more then "The Infamous Dr. Kaku"....lol catchy!
could be a super-villain....lol

As for the rest of you......I'm checking out of my own thread. I don't even care anymore. I was hoping to engage a different calibur of people that
obviously I am not. I think I'll just stop posting here and go back to where, more often then not, REAL knowledge is debated. For those of you who
would like some interesting reads by REAL P.h.Ds in the disciplines of Theoretical Physics, Mathematics, and Astro Physics feel free to head over to
the link listed below. It's a jumping off point. If you poke around you'll find a great wealth of REAL non-Wikipedia/non-youtube based
information.

It was a good ride for the last week or so that I've enjoyed this site but it's fascination has wore off and I need to stimulate my mind not
entertain it. Thank you ATS for all that you do towards enabling these topics to be spoken about in an open forum format. I only wish you had more
informed and diligent pool of minds to help contribute.
