"Does it uncover anything about Obama's birth certificate, UFO's, or 9-11? No again."

What do you expect? Wikileaks is too busy releasing 600,000 documents of the same old same old to a population which:

A) Does not read
B) Does not have the time to read
C) Does not know how to read
D) All of the above

Let's cut Wikileaks and their poster boy for the 9/11 Official Fairy Tale some slack. You know, it does take an awful lot of work to shovel 600,000 pages of fertilizer onto the General Public.

These Wikileaks guys are brave heroes dedicating their time fighting the good fight, so let's show some respect and most importantly, let's all be distracted by the soiled toilet paper they're releasing and not worry about the real important issues which impact our daily lives.

After awhile one gets pretty sick of hearing so and so is a Zionist or this or that guy is a CIA plant, or NWO agent ( or alien, reptoid, etc ad infinitum).

For once Id like to see someone back any of these allegations up with anything. Show me the money! Most of the time the only thing that's holding us back is ourselves and the infighting, disinformation, etc.

Its pretty easy if you dont like someone just say, I dont like that guy because ..... or I disagree with that statement because.........

Simply putting a false label or trying to demonize someone is pretty pathetic and just shows a lack of intellectual and intestinal fortitude.

Alright then. Let's look at facts, if that's what you really want. Don't you think its kind of fishy that the same day the US puts out a international arrest warrant for Assange, the guy's invited to speak before the EU parliament? If he really is potentially most dangerous individual to the US, they would have killed him-- accidents do happen. Instead he walks around freely.

I used to love Wikileaks. It used to mean something. Now it is just that site that gives the world useless info.

It is no coincidence that this comes just before an election.

It is no coincidence that there is a current related behind the scenes move to push through major cyber security regulations which will ultimately give the government control over the internet.

wikileaks has become what it is.

These leaks don't just happen, you don't get this kind of data and just walk out with it and leak it to the public.

People had better wake up to what is really going on here.

edit on 23-10-2010 by Fractured.Facade because: (no reason given)

yeah, 400,000 documents are hard to walk with off the building

digital era makes it possible

yeah, it may be a game, but, with all the history of leaks from wikileaks, changing governments around the world, they do have a better background then you ...

Just imagine the accuracy and amount of intelligence they have and will collect from the release and spread of the wikileaks insurance files alone.

Governments have teams cracking those files, and everyday average and highly skilled hackers alike, globally working on it.

Whether wikileaks is government or not is irrelevant at this point, the agenda is obvious, at least it should be to anyone who has barely followed what has been released.

Several objectives are rather clear, influence elections and the political environment in Iraq and destabilize the region even more, nearly assuring conflict and war, which may include an increase of troops and escalation of US military operations as well as covert missions in the region... Again! (Can't let Iran have Iraq) not yet!

By demonizing the US led wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, it increases the possibility of terrorist attacks on US and western interests... Another possible catalyst for war.

The US political season and elections can use the Iraq war to debate the right's positions on it in the near mid-term elections.. (focus diversion from the economy etc)

And most importantly, wikileaks activities WILL serve as a catalyst for the advancement of legislation and laws that will ultimately give the government virtually complete control over the internet.

So far... Mission accomplished!

Good point, leaks have been used for a long time for various political agendas as political expediency is the order of the day ( well has probably always been), especially with various infighting in the political machine. However on our level any intel is good intel depending on how its used.
