I find it hard to believe that many of the overweight and couch potato, sitcom watching people could actually plan a revolt. To really revolt a person would need to be armed, in shape, and knowledgeable. I don't really know that many people that actually fit this. Many people are too busy watching American Idol or some stupid sitcom on television to really be paying attention to politics. Everyone has electronic devices that think for them, and they don't have to think for themselves, because some application will tell them the answer.

Maybe there are a few people who are off the grid, stockpiling weapons and planning, but if there is going to be any revolt, it will be chaotic and unpredictable. I don't know if it would work. Maybe a chaotic revolt that happens in spurts here and there, with no telling who will get involved or what will happen will be better than something someone sits and plans. Sometimes plans are stopped in their tracks.

Really, I just want to live and work and eat. Most people I know are happy if they can just go to work, make some money, watch television, and fart around up town on the weekend. We may all be slaves but we don't feel like slaves when we have a bit of food to eat and a bit of money to buy things.
Fighting takes strategy, planning, and energy. It just sounds like so much work that most people would rather someone else do it, and who is that going to be?

In general. I agree with you. But what is common people going to do when they can no longer just live and work and eat? What is common people going to react if the dirty tricks in politics and economics become mainstream?

I agree that if you do not realize you are a slave you won't care. But what will happen if suddenly you became aware of your slavery? Would you be able to sustain an illusion of happiness?

Well people may wake up to the fact that they are slaves, but it still takes planning to actually do anything. If somehow some of our own military turned on the government, then we might have a chance. Many of the military people I know are really nice people and would probably rebel if they were force to fire on innocent people. They take an oath to fight for the United States of America and if somehow the U.S was becoming something different, they'd fight for their constitution and their rights I guess, if they felt this was going to be taken away. But I don't know what the shadow government has planned. Maybe they have advanced robotics or drones or mind control. Maybe they have super soldiers with no emotion.

I do have a feeling something is about to happen soon. My dreams are haunted by either something in nature happening, such as the Caldera in Yellowstone going up, or some sort of government takeover.

The other night I dreamed that I was trying to get my family through some sort of check point. I was telling them that we'd eat soon, as I could see lights just beyond the checkpoint.

I had a feeling that we were being quarantined for some reason, or kept out because we were undesirables or something.

I don't know for sure what is going to happen, but I think most people are not really going to be ready.
Children and young adults especially would not be ready. I figure if the grid goes down or there is a real emergency, most kids would go crazy. There may be some who can handle it, but most would just complain about not having their cell phone or not being able to contact their friends. People are so used to be connected that if you took it away, they'd literally have a nervous break down I think. I probably would too, but I do believe something is coming, and I know complaining would not help. The best thing to do is to think about how to survive and get food and shelter. If you are bored, but can feed yourself, you can survive. Although in that situation, I don't think I'd actually be bored. I'd be scared to death, but there may not be time to be bored. I don't chat all day on the cell phone anyway, and I don't just HAVE to watch my favorite show on television. I also know that I might have to be prepared to eat bugs or skin a squirrel or get my hands dirty, and I could do that. I have no fear of bugs or getting my hands dirty. I am not a diva. But for those people who are, they'd not be able to handle ruffing it for very long. They'd probably sell their soul for a cheeseburger, give up their freedom just to have a few comforts.

I read about people wishing,expecting,hoping something will happen to change the world here on ATS constantly.

I think that in a way,they are admitting they want change,and simultaneously admitting they do not want to be the ones to get their hands dirty making these changes.

I am hoping something will happen.............La La La.......

There is a collective consciousness in this world,and the media,all of your devices you use to think and do for you,interfere with that consciousness.

Anyway........

Did anything disastrous happen in November that was predicted or prophesied? I recall quite a few being made....perhaps the Korean conflict counts if it erupts into all out war but other than that I can not think of anything relevant.
