OP, intriguing video. Too bad it was blurry throughout. Figures that when a really great opportunity to capture some primo footage comes up, the dude's camera (or was it the girlfriend's/wife's??) begins filming blurry. Maybe it's the influence of the craft that causes all cameras to go fuzzy??!?!? Perhaps they have some form of distortion technology that makes capturing footage of them virtually impossible?!?

You know i have had that perception for years in my mind , your quote below could be entirely possible but as we know its only speculation just now but i for one would not be surprised if ths was indeed the explanation why there is so few clear and higher resolutions of UFOs captured by film or cameras.Far fetched , yes but in the logic of percentages on possibilities of this perception i say why not.

Unless you are a film maker most common people use thier cell phones or digital camera's, Some good quality some less expensive. For the most part less expensive would seem to be the norm. Even a good quality digital camera that is purchased for home use will not tae a picture perfect clear movie in the darkness of night or even day.

These sightings happen on the spot and those filming are NOT professionals. Adrenaline is pumping, hands shaking, Difficult at best to get a clear shot and with less than adequate equipment.

I'm a newbee here on ATS and my facination with this came a few years ago, Walled lake Michigan. I was returning home with the wife from my Karate school, We turned down our street, wooded area with lots of water, a triangle UFO? was hovering above our car, Black in color, absoultely no sound at all. It was enourmous in size, It followed above us all the way to our door, two white lights on it and not flashing, and it wasn't 3 thousand feet in the air it was maybe 50 feet above the tree tops. We watched as it hovered over the lake and out of sight. No, no pictures or camera on us.

This video is awsome in my opinion, I've seen something similar to this in southern Ontario before when camping. I'd like to know what it was as well. The helicopter is an interesting addition to the video, further validates the objects presence and helps set a frame of reference. great post regardless.

Any stadiums around there that could've had a blimp at them? But then again I've never heard af a blimp needing helicopter escort LOL!

Planes and helicopters should stay away from and UFOs.
They don't know what they are dealing with unless it balloons.

What I don't get is this and maybe you can answer this for me.

Why would people automatically assume a light that is unidentified is alien controlled?

Not only that, why would they jump to this conclusion, even with the fact that in and near washington, there are 3 known airforce bases, where they could be testing advanced military aircraft.

Compared to the size of the helicopters it looks quite big. Could be just a test flight for a new aircraft, or the helicopters came from a local air base to check out what this 'UFO' was.

But no no it was really just a weather balloon

Its a curious video, not too badly done considering all. Two helicopters, more than likely armed to the teeth would be a logical reply to a UFO so close to an urban area. Jets are too fast, and something could easily go painfully wrong... the helicopters there seems to add to the veracity of the claim of it being an actual UFO. Now, what does the local press and airports have to say about this? Were there reports of unusual activity? Hmmmm... curious.

I still see couple red flags or questions unanswered about it to keep me from giving it my seal of approval but pretty weird.

I also would not assume its alien, but the movement is what really makes me scratch my head. I have seen objects fly like that is what aggravates me and it was definitely a UFO, if it was military well then we are allot more technologically advanced then we even know. Considering I know of know fossil fueled engines that can move a machine in the sky in such angles at such speeds. Anyhow as I was saying its pretty weird video, that basically gives us more questions then answers.

I have thought of a genius way to determine the origin of UFO's in future sightings.

first you need a laser pointer. Preferably one of the really strong green ones

when you see what you believe to be a UFO, whip out your laser pointer and aim it at the craft

If at first nothing happens and then the feds and cops come Knocking on your door. you know that the craft was terrestrial and man made.

If the craft returns fire and incinerates you then its probably extraterrestrial.
