I think the whole floating deal makes sense to me now...

IT is really a spider right, what does a spider do with its pray, it spins them up
so they are floating around in the web above ground, aha !

He said the floating comment to the boy when he was at the sewer grate right?

I thought he said that because he is in the sewer and...errhhmm..."floaters" and all.

Just my thought.

Watched when I was younger and scared the living hell outta me and my sister.
