It is sad that you have stopped thinking and bought into the NWO's Satanic Agenda. And it IS a SATANIC AGENDA.

Religion was designed to promulgate Wars and separate men from GOD.

Every bit of info you have exposed yourself to has been prepared for you.

You would know this if you actually set out to learn some facts entirely on your own volition.

Don't you mean "Declaration of Independence?"
See, it does make a difference what is said.
The Constitution does not contain the word "Creator."

Bill Clinton said that the last time he checked, the Constitution said we had the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Although I do agree that those listening or reading what Obama said should not have expected him to quote the "Declaration of Independence" verbatim because that would have shown he cared and respected this document which he does not. As far as being a Christian, on several occasions he has openly stated he is Muslim. On one occasion his own wife said it in a public speech defending him.

Obama is an enigma to say the least and it doesn't really matter who is in office, there will be detractors and mud slingers galore. One cannot please all the people all the time and they really shouldn't try.

I became a Republican because of Ronald Reagan and have never looked back and regretted it. I allow every president to make their own mistakes because outside of JFK and Reagan in my lifetime, I haven't seen a real president.

This is how most individuals confuse the scope of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

The Declaration was written by men for men.
The Constitution was written by men for government.

Our Constitutionally protected rights are not the total enumeration of lawfully protected rights, nor our natural rights. They are the generalization of our rights the government may act upon.

It is the iteration of rights which the government is allowed to interfere with given the correct criteria as outlined within the Constitution.

I hope that's clear-ish.

The government must ensure the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This does not mean they have the authority to deny other natural rights we retain.

yes the founding fathers thought as much......................and yet they chose to put the word Creator in the text.

No matter what you believe, you can't go around choosing which words you think should or should not go into the Declaration.

We either take it and the Constitution as they are or we burn them right now.

It's called 'paraphrasing' and fortunately President Obama is smart enough to understand the dangers and divisiveness of religion even though many other leaders and citizens do not.

In the beginning man created God.
Trust me! God is the biggest scam I ever heard in my life.

Obama definitely knows what he is doing folks and the paraphrasing defense does not cut it.

Especially when you consider THIS!! Wake UP!

Obama Says ‘Creator’ in Citing Declaration of Independence, Despite Earlier Omissions

Yes Obama is clearly playing games or he is getting the hint that people don't care for his little games!!

On the campaign trail for Democrats this past weekend, President Barack Obama said the word “Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence, although he had omitted mentioning the word in several earlier speeches this year.

In three speeches on Friday and Saturday, Obama cited the “Creator.”

Don't even think that he has simply forgotten this portion of the Declaration. This is probably the most quoted portion of the entire document.

He is playing everyone and creating tension and confusion on purpose.

Your proof that he meant something real and nefarious by NOT saying it is proven to you by the fact that he DID say it? Can you explain the logic to me? I am still not sure what any of you think this means. Did the president include the word creator when he owned slaves? Implemented Martial Law? Herded Americans into interment camps? I am still kind of looking for any logic in this thread and it seems you might have the most interesting leap out there. Care to explain?

The man is playing games and his handlers most likely read the news and told him not to omit it from these recent speeches.

Only 7 days to go. Don't forget the game that is being played.

Don't think he is playing? Just look at this thread any many other discussions on other sites about the topic.

The naivete act is getting old.

Oh give it a rest. So he paraphrased the Declaration, big deal. Why don't you just shoot the man? God, what's wrong with you people? He could tie his shoes funny and you'd just find a reason to hate him for it.

We are not talking about tying shoes funny. And its not even a paraphrase. He choked on it.

So he choked, big deal. Doesn't mean he's trying to rewrite history. Last I checked, that was Texas' job. Thomas Jefferson wrote the thing, and a bunch of right-wingers wanna write him out of memory. *chuckle*
Where's the friggin' angry thread for him, eh?

Although, for an orator as brilliant as Obama, it is kind of odd. That said, I don't buy into the notion that he's some kind of anti-christ for one minute. It makes me sick to see all the blame diverted from the real destroyers of American society, who all apparently hate Obama twice as much as any of us.

The problem with leaving out creator, one aspect of the problem anyway, is that it is germain to the line of thought. Its also just bad gramer to the point of changing the meaning of the text and begging the question that the word "endowed" asks. Endowed by who by what? And an Harvard boy is sposed to be educated enough to know this.

To tell you the truth if you give Obama his due for being Harvard educated then some are forced to believe that his meaning, his reading, was to suggest that the government grants right the same as the "king" who is being addressed in this document. It is simply a majior failure one way or another when reading words from a document like this. If rights are endowed its reading as he read it could mean anything which the document does not suggest.

People in the US started favouring the message delivery over actual content. And that's exactly the main issue in the US. Just look at the this thread where people get all angry about Obama not mentioning "the creator" in one of his speeches. Not a single person in that thread (!!!) addressed any other content in the speech!

Like mindless zombies, and really hard to understand for a lot of people from abroad. Like I said, so many issues (economy, war, deficit, unemployment, oil spill, etc.) yet if you watch the news, and hear people talk, they mostly focus on the unimportant stuff.

The radical Christian preacher in Florida is another example. Why did people even talk about him, why did the news organizations bother reporting his actions. He's clearly a total lunatic who's mother dropped him on the head when he was born...so when did the media start giving retards airtime during NEWS SHOWS! Why did the White House feel the need to react at all other than saying "LOL, crazy old man"? It wasn't important news! They could have brought specials about how experts think unemployment could be reduced, or how the economy could be jump started again. THAT would have been important and interesting stuff.

Instead we get blasted by idiots like Beck who are nothing but conservative tele-preachers in disguise. So not only do we get blasted by unimportant stuff like mentioning "the creator" in a speech or not, but now religion is used too to control the masses. And people are so blindly patriotic that they buy into this crap.

Sometimes you just wanna slap those people and tell them to WAKE UP!! As long as that doesn't happen, nothing will change no matter which party's in power. And I'm not talking about some crazy revolution like some idiots with a gun rack and too much testosterone propose. All they need to do is listen to CONTENT again rather than the wrapping of the message. Don't see it happen anytime soon though judging from a lot of posts on here and elsewhere...

Wah wah wah. Oh, no, he left creator out. Big effing deal.

You want to find historical white-out and rewrites, try looking at the changes the Texas School board called for. Some stuff there to really get steamed about, unlike this little non-issue.

The Christian God; Jesus is very small and weak. Compared to the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Jesus is never coming back, not then, not now, not ever.
