Don't you mean "Declaration of Independence?"
See, it does make a difference what is said.
The Constitution does not contain the word "Creator."
Bill Clinton said that the last time he checked, the Constitution said we had the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Although I do agree that those listening or reading what Obama said should not have expected him to quote the "Declaration of Independence" verbatim
because that would have shown he cared and respected this document which he does not. As far as being a Christian, on several occasions he has openly
stated he is Muslim. On one occasion his own wife said it in a public speech defending him.
Obama is an enigma to say the least and it doesn't really matter who is in office, there will be detractors and mud slingers galore. One cannot
please all the people all the time and they really shouldn't try.
I became a Republican because of Ronald Reagan and have never looked back and regretted it. I allow every president to make their own mistakes
because outside of JFK and Reagan in my lifetime, I haven't seen a real president.
