Dr. Louis Jolyon West was an expert on brainwashing and mind control. According to Gunderson, Dr. West visited Timothy McVeigh in jail many times. Furthermore, Timothy McVeigh wrote a letter to his sister saying he was selected to be a assassin for the CIA.

Louis Jolyon ("Jolly") West (1924 in Brooklyn, New York - January 2, 1999 in Los Angeles) was an American psychiatrist, human rights activist and expert on brainwashing, mind control, torture, substance abuse, post traumatic stress disorder and violence

Timothy McVeigh a year after we were told he was discharged:

The Director of the Neurophyschiatric Institute and chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA, Dr. Louis Jolyon West was selected to run the center. Dr. West is alleged to have been a contract agent for the CIA, who, as part of a network of doctors and scientists, gathered intelligence on hallucinogenic drugs, including '___', for the super-secret MK-ULTRA program.

Dr. West was further known as the psychiatrist who was called upon to examine Jack Ruby, Lee Harvey Oswald's assassin. It was on the basis of West's diagnosis that Ruby was compelled to be treated for mental disorders and put on happy pills. The West examination was ordered after Ruby began to say that he was part of a right-wing conspiracy to kill President John Kennedy. Two years after the commencement of treatment for mental disorder, Ruby died of cancer in prison.

Very interesting!! Last year, scientist Anna Salamon spoke at the Singularity Summit 2009 -- Shaping the Intelligence Explosion and basically frankly admitted to human mind control experimentation. This is a direct quote from her lecture. ("meat" = humans)

"Um, also, meat is a slow and messy business. We've got brain surgery and psychiatric drugs, but they're imprecise and when we can create or copy humans, the process takes 20 years and a lot of labor and it often produces unexpected results. But if we had digital access to a given mind we could potentially try and test changes to that mind in minutes. We could try many variations as evolution does but in minutes instead of decades and with more strategy. And we could figure out which variants were best at math, which variants were best at earning money in the economy by various money earning jobs, which variants were better at further software redesign. And then we could do the just add hardware thing copy those across the hardware base. Hand directed digital evolution."
