How many of you guys are in the same mind-set as i am in thinking that we will never pull out of Iraq and in fact will make it a new command?calling it MECOM maybe?As in middle eastern command. Kind of like we have PACOM for Pacific Command and CENTCOM for Central Command. Its is in an ideal spot being so close to Africa and being smack dab in the middle East. Now that we are closing Bases in Germany and Japan and sending everybody to the Middle East i think it will come to fruition. Thoughts?
