How could you say this is an outlandish clam.... This is obviously god caught on film. I mean what else can it be? Those google cameras are perfect in every way and there is no way possible for a digital aritfact to show up.

Im hoping your being sarcastic?

If not, then OMG!!!!

You are correct friend, I do not believe that this is a picture of God. This thread was started to provide some humor and to gather options not to provide proof of existence. I just find it very humorous that many people are taking it very seriously, including yourself.

This photo is obviously some type of glitch with the google cams.

Great Stuff

This thread was started to provide some humor and to gather options not to provide proof of existence.

In your OP...

I did a quick search for this any couldnt find anything. If it has already been posted I apologize, and the Mods can remove. Same goes for if this is in the wrong place.

Now I was just doing so light reading on the net an found this article Source It contains a link to google maps and picture of what looks like God waving at people driving on the road.

I have added the google maps link HERE

I played around with it a little and you can see this image for a long section of road. Now this could be a leaf that got stuck on the camera. However, you can first start to see the image if you "back-up" the image to the bridge behind the car.

Enjoy

... you showed NO indication of this being presented as humorous but rather presented it as something YOU believed to be true.

I just find it very humorous that many people are taking it very seriously

With the lack of indication of humour and with the lack of smiley's in your OP, how are members of ATS to know you were posting this for humour?

including yourself.

I showed interest in this topic because people, including yourself, showed us members that this is/was actually an image of god. My seriousness [if you can call it that] included the occasional smiley to show I was not being serious. This thread, that you posted, is a joke. Its a pity you didn't include in the OP that you were presenting it as humour and were not serious about it. Unfortunatly you didn't take this approach thus leaving me with the impression you were indeed being serious.

This photo is obviously some type of glitch with the google cams.

Your entitled to change your mind. Its a pity you can not edit the OP to let others know your stance on this

God is what one want's to see to be palatable to the person.

So one person may see a bearded old man.
Next person might see a homeless man.

Both are correct.
He could even be a dog or cat if he wants to be.

This must be said to.
What good does it make you or any atheist.
To question one's faith?
If Someone say's they see god ....LET EM...does it hurt any person on this earth in any way shape or form?
No it does not.

My father told me to never argue politics or religion..He was a wise man lol
Cause you can argue till your blue in the face it will not matter to anyone but yourself.
The religious will still be religious.
And Obamatards will still be Obamatards .

case closed..
And if the guy thinks it may be god..So be it he see's god..and good for him.

Ok

He could even be a dog or cat if he wants to be.

He? Ok

It's my purpose, as a thinking human being to question everything. Please know that religion was drummed in to me from birth to 14 years old. I THANK religion for making me a " free thinker ". In religion there are false answers!

If Someone say's they see god ....LET EM...

I do

does it hurt any person on this earth in any way shape or form?
No it does not.

It does! A free thinker can see this all around the world, and here on ATS

My father told me to never argue politics or religion..He was a wise man lol

lol I completely agree, my father told me the same!

Cause you can argue till your blue in the face it will not matter to anyone but yourself.

Though I disagree here. A great mind is a thinking mind. If we are to replace " argue " with " debate " then we can learn alot from one another. A closed mind, that is religion, an open mind is to question it

The religious will still be religious.
And Obamatards will still be Obamatards .

Absolutely, each to their own my friend!

case closed..

For you mabye, its still open for me

And if the guy thinks it may be god..So be it he see's god..and good for him.

Absolutely. And if a guy thinks it is not, so be it....and good for him

I can't believe all the terrible anti-religious responses here.

It just angers me so much.

God finally comes back down to earth and nobody will give him a ride - disgusting!

You're wasted on this thread, Silent Thunder, and possibly on this site as a whole
I don't care how many people get offended by this, it is the truth.

A star for you.

BTW, Google Maps have so many but so many technical glitches that I am surprised anyone would take the time to deconstruct every one of them.
Then again, I've seen much sillier threads grow and prosper for ages....

God is not a being in the sky (or blurred image in the sky) but the spirit, which can be perceived in deep states of meditation. At least that's what I believe, I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion, esp. since this is a subjective area.

Did I really need to imply sarcasm with this statement?

Hold on my dog named Berkowitz is speaking to me, for some reason he wants me to write really bad things here about religion and god. I'd better ask my cat what to do. . .

Yes, I used sarcasm in my statement and it was uncalled for. Please accept my apology as I look back on the statement and regret saying it, Sorry

To me, it looks like somebody has partially removed the label of a coke bottle so that part of the label is still attached, and thrown it out the window.
