God caught on Google maps

I did a quick search for this any couldnt find anything. If it has already been posted I apologize, and the Mods can remove. Same goes for if this is in the wrong place.


Now I was just doing so light reading on the net an found this article Source It contains a link to google maps and picture of what looks like God waving at people driving on the road.

I played around with it a little and you can see this image for a long section of road. Now this could be a leaf that got stuck on the camera. However, you can first start to see the image if you "back-up" the image to the bridge behind the car.

This is very noticable on the tree tops.

I wonder how they do it?
If you click to take you down the road you get to a point where you pass it.

I wonder if it's a reflection/refraction inside the camera which changes it's location in the photo/google guy's video as he drives down the road compared to the source of the light?

By no means am I an expert at photography analysis.

Having gotten that one fact out of the way, my humble opinion is that this is so fake that Lindsay Lohan envies it's fakiness.

Sorry but that looks fake and altered. Why is the area around it and at the top all blurry?

Its like that tool I don't know the name of in PS, was used to make that effect.

Kind of foggy there, I figured it was condensation on the camera lol. If someone photoshopped that and screwed up the trees doing it, they fail at photoshop lmao.

It could be the real deal, and it appears this way in google as the camera is not the human eye and may not be able to perceive such godliness as humans can.

A bit weird you see 'god' in it (personified deity? Is that still a common belief?) However, when you pass the tunnel down the road, 'He''s standing on top of it at the other side

I believe the google street cam had some defect down that road - you see it all the way down the road, with the same vague curve beneath it.

Maybe a bug or bird hit the camera lol. Who knows.

I don't see what you see from the other end of the tunnel.
What I do notice is a strange reddish fog coming from the same area where the anomaly is.

I can not see the anomaly from the other end of the tunnel.

I didn't mention manipulation through photoshop nor did I mention hacking

Image manipulation can occur through the media in which its being recording. In this case, because the tree tops show blur/softness and very well looks out of place compared to the rest of the image, the manipulation is therefore coming from the media [camera]. Obviously its not being done intentionally

As said, its somehing that is moveing with the google car.. close to it, because you can even see "god" in the tunnel that is close to the picture you posted.. inside the tunnel at one point..

Ah ok, most of the time photo manipulation I hear about is referring to shopping lol.
