"Nobody in al-Qaeda is living in a cave," according to an unnamed Nato official quoted by CNN.

He added that Ayman al-Zawahiri, bin Laden's second in command, was also living in a house close by somewhere in the country's mountainous border regions.

However, the Nato official said bin Laden was thought to have ranged from the mountainous Chitral area near the Chinese border, to the Kurram Valley which borders Afghanistan's

I just thought this would be partly funny and partly true.
Has nobody thought about how conveniant it is that he can't be caught??

Pakistan is definitely not our enemy, but the ISI are a rogue organisation corrupt to its core. They are like an inoperable tumour, realistically there isn't a great deal that we can do about them, not without causing a lot of problems and it is debateable whether it is better to just leave them to it and to continue proxy-war against them.

Seriously this whole war on terror, has always seemed like a modern re-hashing of the Gi Joe cartoon series of the late 80s. Instead of yelling COBRA they yell Al Qaida, and they definitely had cooler outfits for the bad guys in GI Joe, but other then that, sure you can almost call this a cartoon parody, where unfortunately people have to die.

Ya know, come to think of it, didnt Destros woman look an awful lot like Sarah Palin?

Whats the betting that they'll catch him just before the next election (cue balloons and dancing), by which time they'll have found a new bogeyman.

A particularly nasty Iranian group maybe....far worse than Bin Laden's lot.....or Aliens maybe?
