Contacting Staff: Alerts, Suggestions, Complaints

link and it’s associated domains see thousands of visitors and posts everyday. There may be times when the membership needs to contact staff for any number of reasons.


All ATS threads now feature a feature located in each member's mini-profile. Clicking ALERT! on the drop-down menu will send an alert to the staff. This alert will also generate an automatic U2U thanking you for bringing the issue to the entire staff for review.

Clicking ALERT! on the menu is the most efficient way for staff to quickly see and act on issues in posts and threads, be they positive or negative. Providing details in the alert can help staff pinpoint the issue.
(Posting notes to mods in threads is not an effective way to get the attention of the staff. Please help staff to keep ATS running smoothly and within the T&C by using the ALERT! item in the menu.)


The best way to do this is to use the Complain/Suggestion feature.

If you have a complaint about a member, staff member, or feature on ATS please use the Complain/Suggestion feature. The Board Business & Questions (BBQ) is not the appropriate place for complaints and such threads will be moved.

If you have a suggestion for ATS we want to hear it, but please do not start a thread for it. Instead use the Complain/Suggestion feature or add your idea to this thread, ATS, BTS, What would you like to see in the future?

Remember that all submissions to the ALERT! and Complain/Suggestion feature are read by staff members. If you do not receive a U2U following up your Complain/Suggestion, it is not because you are being ignored. ATS staff are a group of volunteers who dedicate hours of work to this forum everyday and there are any number of reasons why a follow up U2U is not sent.
