I just remembered another good reason why the light bending is fake...I think it was posted earlier. If the gravity field is able to bend light, then all light would get bent, not just the light produced by the laser. I don't have the biggest background in physics, but to my knowledge gravity doesn't prefer one light source over another. Therefore, it should have not only bent the light from the laser, but the ambient light from the room as well. The area around the gravity field in the picture should have been effected and distorted as well.

And no, his predictions haven't been very reliable. A Waco type event every month...the problem is that there are only a couple months left in the year. The prediction's rhetoric seems to suggest the Waco events would occur for longer than 3 months. The predictions are so generic that you can find anything that seems to comply with them, as evident by the news section on johntitor.com. "Elections bring political unrest"...oh wow, who but a time traveler could have predicted that? "Mad cow pandemic"...the evidence johntitor.com uses to prove that this prediction came true was the fact that 6000 letters were sent to people telling them they could be at risk of infection...amazing, how convincing. 6000 people that could be infected is not a pandemic. No pandemic at all yet. Mad cow disease has been popping up for years now, it's nothing new. I could go on...the predictions are so generic that it becomes easy to pick out any event that seemingly confirms them. OR, they are based off of trends that have been true for years, like the west destabilizing, China posing a threat, or civil rights abuse. Here's one of my own..."tension deepens in Middle East", look at me, I'm John Titor.

The point of Titor's story is he came from the future in a time machine after years of war. Most people have gotten that point, and most people have dismissed it.

I am honestly surprised that nobody else already mentioned this, but here goes.......it can be determined within the first 3 seconds of viewing that photo that it is not what he describes it to be. He says that the light is bending because of change in gravity outside the vehicle, and that the laser is visible because of the cigar smoke. Okay, so if the cigar smoke is what makes the laser visible, how is it visible outside the vehicle, where it bends? Is he time traveling in his car with his window rolled down? Sounds pretty dangerous to me...

Guy comes back in time to post on a conspiracy web board. Are you kidding me? Can you all please just take a step back and actually think about how really just plain out outrageous that is?

The titor story is interesting and a fun read, but thats all, I can't believe some people are still wanting to believe that a time traveller comes back in time to sit on the internet, sheeesh. If you read his posts you will see that he is deliberately vague about anything to do with the future, citing that he doesn't want to change anything, yet that doesn't stop him revealing his very existance to us, and babbling on endlessly about what the future is like and how rubbish we all are.

Oh yeah, ignoring the above stuff there is the fact that he has a Cold War radiation detector in his van. Thats right, the small yellow box in his photos is exactly that, a CD V-700 series rad meter. Search for yourself, they have the same insignias and everything, also available in multiple colours I can't find the link right now, but there was also something about the buttons being the wrong way round in some of the pictures of the actual unit (maybe compared with the manual), and how it was impossible for this to happen because of the units they controlled. I think it was the ones on the right hand side, I will take a look later when my internet is faster....

This whole thing is something can be discussed for page after page, and the evidence against the light bending can be used as SUBSTANTIAL proof, however who is to say that in that time, that they are not more developed....

ANywyas like the person before me said, the whole idea of him coming back in time and posting on a board is something QUIET strange, however there is only one main reason I can see him do it if he was a REAL timetraveler, and that is message boards like this can be used to spread word of mouth very easy....

Im not to sure if it was posted on this forum or not, however on another one I have visited, there was a thread about how his friend had come back and said about his death.....I guess they probs used this, so that the HOAXER if it was one, could get away....

Well maybe he needed that so when he was traveling he would know if he wound up in a time that was nuked.

reading back a little... I believe, hardly anyone would take this seriously: but why did he do this, and what motivated him? Did he want to be popular? Now he is. But in different means.

I just have a couple of questions about this guy.
1. Why haven't more people came back in time like from the year 3000?
2. What about the nuclear winter theory?

The nuclear winter theory is (and i'm going off my 10th grade biology class lol) if there is a nuclear exchange of missles that there would be mass amounts of smoke generated and it would block out the sun. I also saw a climograph generation of this scenario and temperatures dropped to -200 clavin degrees. I would like to know how any type of life could return from results like this. Also if there is a mass exchange of nuclear weapons how is it that they have anything left to recover all of the current research done on time travel? How would they have the needed materials to put together a time machine? I understand also that in some of his posts someone asks him if we could use a dollar in his time.(again, i'm going off of something i read in another forum) He said yes, which made me wonder, If the united states is ultimately wiped out by a nuclear war, and the economy is decentralized how would there be anything to back the dollar? Our money now would be nothing more than paper in his time. Just like he couldn't come from his time and have his money be worth the same. The same thing also happens in other countries. Meaning you could take 100 U.S. dollars to Mexico and it would be worth a lot more.(which i'm sure you all knew that) I wonder if we could write some letters to the white house, and other big organizations and try to prevent this thing.=/

I was just wondering...How much more advanced will we be in 32 years? Even if the nuclear war wasn't to happen I don't think that we would be to the point of time travel, if it's even possible. So..How likely is it that with a nuclear war that almost wipes out humanity as we know technology would be as advanced? Just thought I'd throw that one at you.

The truth is anything can happen in 32 yrs it may not be a large time span but alot more than world war can happen. Science and Technology has made leps and bounds on to things we never thought were possible in 30 yrs.

And while were on the subject of the fake photo what about those manual scans he gave us? Those seem rather authentic. I mean im no expert on that subject. But would'nt alot of hours have to be put in to make something of that quality?

As said, in this day and age, the Messageboard is the best way to voice out. Before the net was like it is today, not much of anything on this board got out other than in small groups.

As for the 'machine' he has pictured. We see many things such as the radiation detector, the 'caution tape' and laser warning stickers.
Are things such as this not placed an anything of experimental use?
I mean for all we know the CD V-700 may be needed in order to detect what it does. Maybe there could be some sort of leak with a piece of equipment. Maybe that’s why the caution tape is in place. The laser stickers may need to be there as well for similar reasons, equipment that emit laser light.

I’m not saying he is/was real, I’m just saying that all the 'stuff' we see in the images may indeed have actual purpose.

I mean if he was so 'smart' to put all this together,why would he put in images of things that could be easily debunked such as common caution tape?

A theif always leaves something behind no matter how careful,but to want to pull off something like this with all the time he needs and thoughts before hand,you would think he would see it himself and replace any 'debunking' meterial.

Open your eyes people! Just because it is highly unlikely that a time travelor would come back in time to get a computer system and while he is here wants to learn as much about our current culture as possible so he went online and started to talk to much about the future.

All the time machine stuff is pretty much out there... and he knew stuff that no one else knew at that time about string theory...

Here's one... there is no such thing as a "waco-type" event. The whole Koresh ordeal actually happened in a little place called Elk, Texas. Journalists just looked at a map and listed the closet real city. Now if he had said that there would be "Elk-type" events, then maybe I'd give his story a shot
