Also it seems like they conveniently change names during a sign of times.

Some hard line right groups wants a Christian Theocracy in America. Installing what can only be described as a Christian version of Sharia Law. If allowed, they would severely limit individual freedoms, to the point that Stalin's Soviet Union would look like a utopia of tolerance and acceptance.
At the same time, some hard line right groups want a complete Corporate Oligarchy in America, stripping all Americans of their individual freedoms and giving Corporations sole discretion over what a person can or cannot do. Basically all function of government would be taken over by Corporations the corporations would then have complete and total control over their employees. Free markets would reign supreme, and there would be no recourse for abuses in the workplace. Basically a caste structure would be created in America, people of a lower caste would never ever have the opportunity to better themselves, and the people in the upper castes would be protected from falling to a lower caste.

I wonder why the Republican Party much more so than the Democrat Party uses so many names to describe themselves?
GOP
Christian Coalition
Moral Majority
Compassionate Conservative
And now The Tea Party?
Why the nicknames?
Also why do they all tend towards religion?
Most of these groups take a far right view on governance and social and cultural issues. These groups all of them have seen success yet none of the items that keep getting them re elected have been changed? Yet people keep voting for them....After they change the name? marketing ploy?
