Currently, I am at a "confusing" period in my spirituality. I have gathered understandings from several different sources, and apply what I feel is correct and reject that which I do not agree with. I do not fully understand, nor trust that I have found the absolute truth.
• Out of Body Experience. Nothing trippy, just directed consciousness outside of my body, able to see my physical body and my room from outside of my physical body. Done with fasting, positive thinking, inner peace, and meditating.
• Random and Involuntary telekinesis. Move small objects without touching them if I had the intent to physically touch the object. Happens more often when I am in states of true inner peace and have been engaged in regular Tuesday and Thursday fasting.
• Self Healing. With calm, peace, and love...
• Unseen "Entities." Imagination, ghosts, angels, demons, astral entities, I do not know. I have experienced poltergeist activity, shower turning on, cubbard doors open and slam repeatedly, lights turning on and off simultaneously in multiple rooms and out of synch (rules out power failure/shortage). I have seen "entities" that were fully solid and fully human looking disappear in front of my eyes. Once, while meditating, I encountered a red faced, bearded entity that looked similar to the stereotypical portrayal of the devil or a demon.
1.) With listing my personal experiences, how does this relate to the occult and/or the purpose of this thread?
2.) I hold my "foundation" of protection and trust to the Monotheistic God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. I call on the name "Allah" in times of fear and to invoke protection. Wish to elaborate on this name for power as opposed to Yeshua or Jesus?
Is this dangerous to invent methods from aspects of different sources? Is this counter-productive to the Occult?

I 've got an enquiry,is it neccessary to believe or pray to any deities/gods/godess when one is interested in the occult and would like to begin the journey for achieving some knowledge?

Many of us here would be more then happy to give you our opinions on matters you would like to discuss.
Experience is infinitely more important then reading a book, I might suggest writing your own book and recording the experiences that you will begin to have when you delve into the occult.
You can read all the books in the world, but until you take that leap into the Otherworld through direct experience knowledge will never fruit into wisdom and it is the wisdom of a human being that is priceless.

Thank you CASH69 and Gradius Maximus. May Peace be upon you.
I offered my personal experiences because I was curious as to how these experiences actually relate to "Occultist / Pagan / Alchemist / Mystic / Shaman" or the MysterySchools. I don't know much on these subjects, because it seems like information overload! Don't know where to start, too many opinions lost in truths, and just basically, never had any exposure to people in these fields.
All my endeavors have been derived from different aspects of mainstream religion, philosophy, metaphysics, and thought.
I have been a practitioner and follower of Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam at different periods in life. Besides the dogmatic, scriptural, and historical discrepancies... each religion brought me to the same place. Same feelings, same "powers", etc.
Reflecting back, I truly feel that there is a "source" that can be reached by all faiths. I'm starting to believe this "source" is universal, every religion taps into the same exact "source" whether they know it or not. I have tapped into the "source" by following different ideologies, but always I reach that same "source."
I want to know what is this "source"? Besides tapping into it with religion and spirituality, how can I utilize the "source" to it's full potential to better my life? I also want to strengthen and develop my "powers" or experiences.

Advice from a fellow musician,Put down the guitar for a while,it happens to the best of us. You have musicians burnout. Later try a different approach to your music, like different chords, instead of blues try metal. Other things to try, detox, read, get your mind off of things. Psychic energy will get blocked if you are sick or worrying about things too much.

In your personal opinion and understanding, what article or school of thought best describes what that something is?
You mentioned the Tibetan monks, but I am assuming that was only in regards to utilizing chi/source/force? It is incredible what many monks achieve. Do you think their level is only attainable through total discipline and abstinence from the worldly distractions? Or can we get to their level and/or beyond living an average, modern American life?
