Hello All,
First post as I normally just poke around and spitball threads but I feel this should be posted today. Mods move it where it needs to be if this aint it. Since 1980 there has been over 228 deaths resulting from 15 mine disasters. Throughout US history since records have been kept there have been three incidents considered the worst with over 250 deaths each. 12/06/07 Monongah #6&8 -362 dead. 11/13/1909 Cherry Mine -259 dead, and 10/22/1913 Stag Canyon #2 - 263 dead.
I think when we have a win like we are having in Chile it is important to remember that alot of families have sacrificed along the way to saving 33 brave men.
Thanks~

Why post on a forum if you dont expect attention?

The fact you post this thread today is BS... when we shoud be happy with what has happend in chile.

Still my repect goes to those who have lost there lives in the past.

its called being a partypooper..

ah but that's the beauty of forums. some post to make a statement, impart knowledge or ask for input while others post for "attention". Your point on being a party pooper is taken but I doubt many give away their joy for this event simply because a memorial is posted. Thanks again for the lesson. Peace.
