Book of Boondock Saint

Letter to the Christians

Chapter 1

1) And God came upon a wall.
The Great Wall of York near
the river Hudson.

2) And God beheld the multitude
of beast mongers sharing
their spoils of evil by deceit
and demagoguery. And God was
very angry.

3) And God summoned Michael
unto him and gave
him strict plight
to carry out his will.

4) And God said unto Michael,
gather together 74,000 believers
in my name and who are of pure heart
and lay siege upon this wall.

5) Gather them together in heart
and spirit and in prayer unto my name
for 3 days. Let them be one voice
unto me sayeth the Lord God.

6) So Michael gathered 74,000
of pure heart and lay siege
upon the wall as God commanded.

7) And Satan came into their mists
like a mighty wind with a force
of the unjust. But the righteous
stood firm in the face of evil.

8) They called upon God's name in
prayer as one loud voice in unison
that echoed throughout the heavens.
And peace filled their hearts and
minds.

9) And the beasts' angels tried again
to quell their siege of the wall,
this time using the elements.
But the believers stood resolute
in God's name with the utmost faith.

10) And when the time had come
forth, they all beheld a great
darkening of the sky. The clouds
parted and the spirit of God
moved about them and the beast
was afraid.

11) And God stretched forth his mighty hand
and shook the ground upon which
they stood and they heard a mighty
Trumpet. Then a host of Angels
descended upon the wall and shook
the great pillars.

12) And a mighty thunder came upon
the wall as it began to crumble
down upon the unrighteous.

13) And God said unto them, this
is my wrath upon the unrighteous
herewith their ways and means
will be gone away from this land
forever.

14) And the wall fell.

15) Then the believers rejoiced
in their faith as the wall was no more.

16) And God said unto them, go yea
into all lands and gather together
in my name as before and the wall will
be gone in all nations.

17) They rejoiced and gave thanks
unto God and went into all the nations
to fulfill God's command.

18) Then God came upon the wall
and saw the good that he had done
and God was pleased.

Err..... what's the point of this exactly?

Should I feel like a bad person because I'm not religious so I will be punished? What's the lesson?

The point? I felt compelled to write it and post it.
I have no clue other than that. The urge to write this
came yesterday afternoon and it stuck in my thoughts
like a splinter for hours until I just had to get it out.
And what came out is what I posted.

As far as you not being religious,
that is your choice. But I will pray
for you

I know you did not just say you will pray for me, that is the very last thing you say to a non religious person!

i wonder how long it would take to find 74,000? good read
is there truly good at heart left in the world? look at how we are, and who we are, it does make one think.

I pray for the entire world, you included.
I just informed you of the fact.
The rest do not know this fact.

Not trying to sidetrack the thread or anything but just a reminder, don't ever tell a non-religious person you will pray for them. You can do it in private or pray for everyone, but don't tell them that you will pray for them. This way you never get into some huge argument about it.

yes it does make one think.
And I do believe there are still good, pure heart believers
in this world. Getting them all together for one cause
may be the biggest obstacle. I'm sure they would not
be able to get a permit to gather around the wall though.
As the evil would try to prevent it.

I'm not in an argument.
Are you?

Randy, it's hard to describe. It was very similar
to a trance state of consciousness in which it
began to literally write itself. And It was done
in less than an hr. However, the longest part
was the splinter in my mind beforehand urging
me to write it down. So I gave in and here it is.

I didn't mean that we are arguing, I meant this way you never get into an argument with any non-religious person.

the lord does work in strange ways, for one does not know till it is done, for he knows who and were, we do not, it would be nice to know when he knocks , i am tired of answering the door in just my socks, bare foot for me from now on, easier to get the stickers out when he says flow me.

Awesome.
I 'll resist the temptation to speculate any more than to say, it sounds like an offering of hope revealed to your
spirit. Keep this close to you.

That was a good read, not sure what to make of it but I like it and it offers hope which is good. I like it because it is spontaneous and because of that everyone has kind of stumbled over it.

It's good boondock.

thank you, I'd like to take credit for it
but I can't. Like I said. It wrote itself.
I was just the way it made it here.
I haven't posted it anywhere else
so it's an ATS exclusive, lol
