Me and my cousin RR are watching music videos online. Basically all the new pop music. One common theme is sexual themes. Seems we became a culture of chocoholics. As a Christian and him being an Atheist we agree something is wrong with our time. Here and else where.

Care to post some...and explain further?

Also...what does sex in videos have to do with chocolate?

Maybe it's the thing where you pour melted chocolate on and then someone licks it off selected areas of ones body?

As to what happened to sanity, I believe it went insane.

I was trying to correct my spelling. Seems I chosen the wrong word.
Music that is over sexed, violent, vulgar and what not. Justin Bieber, and numerous of other pop groups.

Can I ask:

"Who get's to decide "oversexed" etc..."

I don't know.
The record companies who only want to profit off these people.
You know what I'm saying?

Well lets see your examples of over sexed.

What videos were you watching. More importantly, why were you watching a Justin Bieber one?

Simply stating an opinion is no way to start a thread. It could be a very good topic, but you set it up for failure.

"Who get's to decide "oversexed" etc..."

I have found it is usually the person that is sore, having trouble walking and complaining about how I need it too much.

I know what your saying, and it kinda scares me.

If you don't like that stuff, don't watch it.

Nothing is "wrong" with people who have differences. They are just different.

That's true!
I agree with you! Some people are just overly sexed and I'm going to respect them.

It's not just that.

I enjoy violent movies, why should I be punished because someone else thinks they are "wrong"?

(That is the thing that kinda scares me.)

Also, more substance to the thread can (i hope) ease my "fears".

Clarification--
By "punished" I mean this:

If something is "wrong" it must be "fixed" (Or should be). If I don't think it is "wrong" then "fixing" it would be punishment...or making me experience what I feel is "wrong".

Really, the best bet here: "To each their own."

Cliche, yeah, but it works!
(Trope too, man I am mean)

Its all aimed at sexualising children at younger and younger ages, creating a more consumeristic society, dislocating societal structures.

I mean come-on think about it, what would the world like if people were able to grow up to be self-actualised human beings. We cant have that

I am not familiar with Justin Bieber and her work. Can I get some examples of her being violent and vulgar?

I call shenanigans!

Justin Bieber is a man baby! Yeah!

(Now is that Man baby, like Austin Powers, or just "man baby"...)

Seriously, taking things away from others isn't cool. It's stealing. (In my opinion)

Talking about rights and liberties of course

I, well i don't hate to, but I will say that the music videos of "Now" haven't changed all that much from the past 10 years. I don't know what to tell you but Blood and Chocolate seem to be popular in life even. We sometimes do wish for pain (not all of us for I speak for none other than myself). We can be a brutal society but as well we can be intelligent and calm. Sometimes in t.v. shows and movies I find myself in agreement with some quotes at times. About human society. Sometimes its even nice to think of yourself as more than; until you realize one day how much you would like to fight someone or how far you would go if some intruder broke into your home. We can be savage, but we can be saints too. I'd consider myself agnostic since you've made the point of religion but I veer far, far from Christianity because of all the murders and hatred behind those blind and stubborn eyes (sometimes). No one has a complete list of right and wrong, but we try.

Cheers (might have more to say, been a drinking a tad and soon to watch X-Files on dvd heheh.. got season 1-3 so far... gotta check my Jambalaya so i don't overcook!!!) Tschuss!

You're right! If it's not Elvis and his gyrating hips making teens want to "pork", it's satanic messages in rock and roll music if you play it backwards making kids love the devil.

Of course I'm not being completely serious. Every generation thinks that the next is going down the road to damnation.

That being said, as a parent, I'd prefer that everything on kids TV was like 'Little House on the Prairie'.

And that is great for you.

I want my siblings (no kids) to watch what they want to watch.

You parent your way, and I will do it mine.

(That is what I am saying.)

It is up to the parent/guardian to take care of the kids, not the "rules and regulations".

I have not seen Justin Bieber's testicles, therefore it's all just hearsay, no proof or evidence.

Sex sells same old story just more in your face these days
As John Lennon said
"They keep you doped with religion sex and TV
Till you think your so clever and classless and free
Buyt you still F'=]#///?g peasants as far as I can see".

Guess that and other things is why the powers that be had him assasinated
