Why won't my ISP connect to ATS?

Second time this has happened, I plugged in a proxy and had no problem
Kind of freaks me out. Any thoughts?

Maybe your ISP has blocked access, or possibly ATS has a domain ban against your ISP.

The only two things that seem logical to me.

If you go to the ATS issues thread you'd probably get a direct answer from the source.

I had the same problem. I could not get on for about an hour, it kind of made me wonder. I am in Canada, Alberta.

I had the same problem in Australia.

I could connect if i ran TOR and went via the TOR network.

I had to delete my ats cookies and logged back in OK.

Same here in sydney australia..... Internet Explorer does that sometimes. Hellmutt sorted me out through facebook...... usually you just wait an hour and it fixes itself.

Could be as simple as a DNS problem. Use OpenDNS instead of your ISP's DNS servers. Thats way you will also get more protection against phisingsites and bypass any filters your country might have forced on the ISP.

OpenDNS

MORE LIKELY A CONNECTION ISSUE THAN A 'GENERAL CONSPIRACY'.
