US Economy Sheds 95,000 Jobs

The U.S. economy lost tens of thousands of jobs in September, and the unemployment rate stayed at a high level. There are nearly 15 million Americans out of work and millions more seeking better jobs.

The U.S. unemployment rate stayed at 9.6 percent in September, while the overall economy had a net loss of 95,000 jobs.

Friday's report from the Labor Department says governments shed 159,000 jobs, including many state and local workers. At the same time, private employers added 64,000 jobs.

However much the politicians want to convince us things are getting better, however much the establishment tries to convince us we are coming out of recession, at some point the masses will realise this is all smoke and mirrors with no substance and react.

The U.S. lost more jobs than forecast in September as local governments fired educators and other workers to make up for declining tax revenue.

Payrolls fell by 95,000 workers after a revised 57,000 decrease in August, the Labor Department said yesterday in Washington. Companies added 64,000 jobs, less than forecast, while the unemployment rate held at 9.6 percent.

A lack of jobs is hampering consumer spending, the biggest part of the economy, limiting growth heading into 2011. The dollar weakened and the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 11,000 as the report bolstered speculation the Federal Reserve will embark on a renewed round of large-scale asset purchases to spur the recovery.

“This is really just the first step in a long line of layoffs in the public sector,” said Lindsey Piegza, an economist at FTN Financial in New York. “The momentum in the private sector is very minimal. There are all of these uncertainties hanging over the private sector right now.”

The sordid state of the U.S. economy continues to worsen, as the globalist elite and their minion banksters loot the nation in the trillions of dollars, exacting a mathematically unrepayable debt and leaving hundreds of thousands out of work, either collecting unemployment worth a week's wages of their previous jobs.

free ride for a little too long. People whine about losing their jobs...boo hoo this boo hoo that. The fact is its your own
fault if you are of no value to the world and your economy. Grow up and go back to school I say.

Its the technology that is part of the problem.... for those of you who do not remember, getting a job used to include a phone call (which was returned by the recruiter or HR department) a phone interview and a face to face meeting with the hring manager....

1) in 2000 and later... a computer matches your keywords to a database and only the best written resumes are pulled. Few if any resumes are actually looked at by a human.

2) Technology! too much is too much.... I have been in sales and managment for 30 plus years! (currently laid off due to this problem) How many ways to contact a person nowadays? Facebook, Twitters, Skype, Email, Voice Mail, Written Letter (ancient!) Texting, Blogs, Web Polls, Podcasts, Video Email, Video Chat, Chat, Instant Messaging.. and more being creatind by the minute... for you "oldies" like me.... remember when you could just call someone and chat on the phone? Because of all the tech... people are cluttered and its hard to know how to reach someone today. Its really harder.

3) People/Customers are more sophisticated.. They are educated... In many cases due to the Interent..your prospect knows as much about you, your company, as you do. People have become buyers not shoppers...But with the economy... fewer are buying nowadays

Entertainment, ? Movies? Visiting friends and family, ? Shopping? Work? Email? Music? Videos? then you are stuck in the system.... Soon very soon.... The Internet will be your every move Then the mark will come out... No RFID... No Interent. Period... Your every move and thought is recorded. They have us all now...
