Teen who killed family on Donaldson ranch to go free

(CNN) -- A young man who was 14 when he shot and killed his family on a New Mexico ranch owned by newsman Sam Donaldson is expected to go free on Saturday, his 21st birthday, his lawyer said.

I have a feeling he should be set free. I believe in rehabilitation. We will see if he commits another murder, and if he does, I will change my mind then about all future instances of this nature.

Everyone deserves a chance. We will never know until he is given the chance to prove himself.

I don't know, but I think I heard their was abuse going on in the family. This kid is going to have a hard life, truly. He killed his parents and now have no family. I just hope he learned that you can't murder people.

If that is true.... You can't really blame him.

Almost every murder is done in an upwelling. I don't think people think of any consequences when it happens.
Those who do plan and commit murder, probably don't care enough about them. ( consequences )

Prison time is not a tool to teach.... It can be a tool to prevent... It is a tool to keep people save.
A convict is removed from society and depending on the crime and circumstances, they get a second chance.

Anyways...
