I have heard of this theory. I believe it is a way to get the" Christian Right" votes. Too bad these people cannot see that these politicians do not practice Christianity in their deeds, i.e. torture, lying, killing etc....

I do not believe any bible stories from any religion should be used to make state decisions. I doubt that the majority of people who elect our officials believe in the "rapture", and would be very disappointed to know that they base their decisions on biblical prophecies.
The people in this country are being used, to further the agenda of others, which is not for the benefit of We The People. IMHO
