Ive taught a cleaner to negotiate a good deal for herself, quit feeling like an "oppressed victim" and work with self-respect and dignity. Thats what Capitalism is all about.

Socialism is all about feeling pathetic and weak and blaming "the system".

imo any progressive should be about empowering people monetarly and financially, the abolishment of hierachy in terms of government and business has to be a priority if you agree that wealth is distributed unevenly.

people are equal(we just need to work hard on families and education) and although some people arguable have more in terms of economic revenue you cant disregard the fact that most don't even have a chance to contribute.

In all socialist nations this has led to a breakdown of the system. Why? Because it degrades those who create wealth and value for all others. YOU did not create this wonderful Internet you are typing on. Somebody did it for you, and you are benefiting from it.
