I was wondering if I could get some pointers on having a clam bake.

My friends and I are planning one and we would like to do the traditional way by digging a hole and adding stones. I've read that we would need seaweed, but I'm not sure if there is a work around. Not much seaweed in the hills of East Tennessee.

Any suggestions or directions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

You could substitute fresh salted spinach for the seaweed. I've seen that done.
