Update 04:45 BST (10:45 CST) According to Watchman Noyes baby Cheyenne was returned last night to the same foster home she was in when rushed to the hospital. The local MSM newspaper, Concord Monitor, had an article concerning the baby's trip to the hospital. They not only stated "the baby is absolutely fine," said Maggie Bishop, the director of the state Division for Children, Youth, and Families. "The baby is healthy, safe, and absolutely fine." (then why did they all think it was bad enough to go to the hospital?), but also stated, "Court documents also mention Irish's affiliation with anti-totalitarian group the Oath Keepers." So, now they they made a forward step of not calling Oath Keepers a militia, as the court document did, but they took many steps backwards by making anti-totalitarian sound illegal. American was based on the premise of being anti-totalitarian, and now it's a bad thing? So bad that you should not be trusted to keep your children over it?!? There is a rally today at the courthouse for any and all to show their support for the First (and Second) Amendment. All support is welcome and needed to Stand for our Rights.

After reading a more comprehensive take on this, I have concluded that the guy in question is nothing but a scumbag that beats women and children and deserved to have his child taken away.

Of course, his supporters will claim that the kid was removed due to the Oath Keepers association while conveniently overlooking his history of abuse.

I see what the Oath Keepers movement is, a bunch of spineless white trash playing "Deer Hunter" in real life.

Did you know that this guy is on the dole? What a hypocrite.

So you read enough to come to the correct conclusion that this guy is a bad guy, but then you fell into the trap of lumping all of Oathkeeper's in with him?

OK is not a militia group, it is not white trash, and this guy is not one of them. Sure, anybody can sign up online for this stuff, but that doesn't make you a representative member. OK are law enforcement and active military that have sworn to uphold their "entire" oath, including the part about protecting the constitution and defending us against "all" enemies both foreign and domestic.

I commend you for reading thoroughly on the case at hand, but now go back and research OK a little better.

Maybe that is the whole point here?

To demonize OK, and to create the perception that they are all white trash, wife and child abusers etc.?

Hey, maybe we've missed the plot here.

Update 20:00 BST (15:00 CST) Baby Cheyenne has been taken to a sexual assault speciality Doctor under police escort. The sheriff is with the baby. Stephanie and Jonathan are following them, along with CPS. Baby Cheyenne is 'fussy', going in and out of consciousness, and when she is awake doesn't want any one touching her, which shows the level of her injuries and distress.

Thanks.
So the above info is from a blog which is sourcing its info from the father.

Baby in foster care sent to hospital
October 14, 2010
The newborn taken from an Epsom couple last week by state social workers was sent to the hospital yesterday but is fine, officials said last night.

Parents Johnathon Irish and Stephanie Taylor had a supervised visit with their daughter and a state social worker yesterday at a Strafford County administration building and during the visit "there was some concern about the possibility of some blood that was seen in a diaper," said Capt. Joseph DiGregorio of the Strafford County Sheriff's Office.

As a "precautionary measure," DiGregorio said, the sheriff's office decided to have the baby examined at Exeter Hospital.

But there was "no indication of any abuse," he said. "Zero. Nothing." The baby was back in foster care last night, DiGregorio said.

Hormonal effects in newborns

Newborn girls may also have temporary changes in the vaginal area.
* The skin tissue around the vaginal area, called the labia, may look puffy as a result of the estrogen exposure.
* There may be a white fluid (discharge) from the vagina. This is called physiologic leukorrhea.
* There may also be a small amount of bleeding from the vagina.
These changes are common and should slowly go away over the first 2 months of life.

Looks like there was no problem here.

If baby Cheyenne was actually taken to a sexual assault speciality Doctor . . . well, to be honest, I'm damn sure she wasn't.
There's too much in Johnathon Irish's account that doesn't add up, and I believe he's making up bullcrap just to get people riled up. - And it's working, because there are a bunch of people just looking for an excuse to slap back at the government.

It's no wonder his lawyer has refused to represent him.

Well, case closed the above expert analysis sums it all up nicely.

Had the Oath Keepers never been mentioned, none of this would have ever had any public attention.

Also, we can always take mainstream news sources as much more credible than any alternative sources when it comes to any news regarding government activities.... Right?

I tightened up that bold a little bit.

Yeah, the fox I set to guard my hen house at night tells me every morning that all the chickens are fine and accounted for. It's very convenient. I never have to check on them myself.

The fox does it all for me.

That's great!

I bet DCYF doesn't have to worry so much about problematic investigations now, and can carry on business as usual!

Is this a win-win?

It appears from reading around that there may have been a mistaken identity with John's father, who had some convictions. Dunno. Bizarre.

Hey, if people on here can come to conclusions that 9/11 was a conspiracy and UFOs are not real, then I can come to the conclusion that the Oathkeepers are nothing more than angry white trash.

Yup. I've seen folks confuse him with his father (who is the "Freedom Rider" guy), and I've seen some of the more entertaining ones confuse Jonathan Irish with Ms. Taylor's ex husband!

That's why I'm really not surprised at some of the conclusions I see being jumped to.

Baby girl taken after birth returned to parents

Updated: Thursday, 14 Oct 2010, 8:25 PM EDT
Published : Thursday, 14 Oct 2010, 8:25 PM EDT

EPSOM, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A baby girl from New Hampshire who was taken into state custody last week has been returned to her parents.

Twenty-four-year-old Jonathan Irish and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Stephanie Taylor, both of Epsom, N.H, were reunited with their daughter Cheyenne Thursday afternoon.

The New Hampshire Department of Children, Youth and families took the baby only hours after she had been born at Concord Hospital.

According to court documents, a social worker believed the baby was in "imminent danger" if left with Irish and Taylor.

Taylor has had two other children from another father removed from her care. According to an affidavit, Irish has a history of violence and anger issues.

The case drew national attention because the state linked Irish to a group called Oath Keepers. The state called the Oath Keepers a "militia group".

I'm seriously glad these folks got their child back, and their family can be made whole again.

Now we can forget all about DCYF ever having done this to begin with, and sweep it under the rug.

Naah. I'm all for holding their feet to the fire about it. The more pain they gain out of it this time, the less likely they are to try it again.

If they don't feel it, there won't be any disincentive next time.

Government Agents Seize Oath Keeper's New Born- UPDATE- Baby Returned

This story changes by the minute here.

Amazing, and there is no mention of the baby being taken to the ER while in custody of the state in this latest report.

I wonder, if maybe there was some kind of out of court binding settlement here, in exchange for silence in that regard?

Something caused this rather quick reversal, we may never know what that was, but you can safely bet that it had to be major for the state to back down like this.

It will be interesting to see where this goes next, and that may change before I submit this post.

I m haven't followed this story that much beyond when it broke. Anyone mind catching me up? Got acouple of questions if antoine knows.

Were the children previously taken, taken from them while they were married?
What charges has he been convicted of in the past?
Why the sudden reversal by the state?

Could it be that the state was confusing the current husband with the ex?

I was pretty much willing to write this off as a nothing burger until they returned the kid. I'd figured that it was just a bad person who happened to be an oath keeper, and thought the OKs were making a mistake getting involved. This story is interesting to me again.

I had read some comments on other sites and he had said that they were getting him mixed up with her ex-husband.

What chills me now is the gag order.

I have been privy to information about a gag order once, and it was something that made the govt. look pretty stupid.

Nice you can do stupid things then have a gag order issued so no one knows. I want that ability when I run over curbs.
