Crop Circles on TLC Last Night

This was the second of two great shows I watched last night. The first being about Area 51. Did anyone catch this show at 10:00PM EST?

I had never heard about the miniature bright lights before. To see it caught on video was interesting to say the least. I also did not know that 80% of the world's crop circles are within so many miles of Stonehenge.

I found the straight-line correlation between the three circles in North Dakota quite interesting.

Perhaps I don't pay as much attention to crop circles as I thought I knew about them. A lot of what I saw last night was news to me.

What is the general thought about crop circles? I saw the hoaxsters interviewed last night but they said they too had seen the lights and that there were other things even they could not explain. It makes it hard to believe the hoaxsters were behind some of these more elaborate circles. Then again, is this just a case of seeing what we want to see? In other words, someone tried like hell to find a mathematical significance to one or more crop circles. When they did they discussed it and everyone took it as gospel?

I'm trying to deny ignorance here but it seems to me that these circles point to something else that's out there.

I still dont understand the real purpose of the elaborate ones...Most of them are hoaxes in my opinion...but I also do believe a small percentage of them are real...Im just curious as to why they are there...I hope it has nothing to do with the movie "Signs"...lol

yes i saw it too even though i have seen it 3 times what i find wierd is that people get erections in crop circleswhich is known as the viagra effect.

Well, the show did state that people feel a variety of physical and emotional states, from euphoria to ... erect tissue.

I think that part is a load of s--t; it sounds like one of those, "Well, other people feel good when they are here, so do I..." type things. Again, if everyone else sees or feels something, so do I. I think that is contagious.

Great shows! As to Area 51, just leave them alone, they're trying to do their work. As to the four "investigators", they had their 15 minutes of fame. Crop circles are getting very fancy these days, however, very old news. Why don't these space clowns just quit goofing off with us, land, an expose themselves!?

I watched both shows, in the area 51 episode, I found it interesting (though not suprising) that the "Feds" searched the man's home. Not sure what to make of crop circles. Sure, some are hoaxed but some are so elaborate and I think it would take longer than over night, and alot of man power, alot of great talent wasted on hoaxing. Also find it interesting about the "nodes" of the plants being blown out.

Can you elaborate about the "nodes"? I remember hearing something about the traces of microwave energy - I think it was iron or something; but I was half asleep at that time.

On Earth we have laws about people exposing themselves. The aliens noted this, as they don't want to start hostilities by being arrested for public indecency. Unless they're smart enough to find a nude beach.

Yea i saw it last night, both the area 51 show and the crop cirlce show. The ball of light on the crop circle was very interesting, i have still yet to explain it. Most likely it should be naturally explainable. Another thing the guy was talking about crop circles forming from chaos. If this is true how does chaos form perfect geometric forms everytime, surely there will be many mistakes, i.e. crop cirlcles that have not completely formed. To get one perfect cirlce by nature u must have many more imperfect circles just because of probability, so his theory is just a bunch of crap. Ive seen videos of hoaxers making crop cirlcles in the night, so thats my guess as to what they are.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would even consider the real Crop Circles as being natural. How does nature understand complex geometric patterns?

One of the newest ones is a picture of a Tesla Transistor. Seems natural to me. Not!

The two old farts in England that came out and stated they were responsible for making them, probably only created a couple of the smaller less elborate ones. Great job of changing skeptical to total non-believers.

No, there is something more to this. I use to think an Alien connection was involved. A possible theory could be related to time travel and possible warnings. Why not, it's as good as any other theory. I don't know, but I would venture a guess and state 85% of the circles are real.

A technology is being used that boggles our imagination.

Lonewolf, thanks for that link. The research on nodes was interesting. I was intrigued by the analysis of early versus late season crops and their expected correlation to breakage as they dry out. It seems the crop circles defeat this expectation of breakage despite the plants' dryness later in the season.
