I take off for one day and this is what I come to? Jesus!
I have nothing else to say. I'm sorry for creating this anger in everyone. I just wanted to bring up a topic I was confused about.

Well you continue to toss the word Messiah around and yet there hasn't been a Messiah yet.
Mashiach

• The idea of mashiach (messiah) is an ancient one in Judaism • The Jewish idea of mashiach is a great human leader like King David, not a savior • There is much speculation about when the mashiach will come • The Bible identifies several tasks that the mashiach will accomplish • Jews do not believe in Jesus because he did not accomplish these tasks

Jesus didn't fulfill what the Messiah was supposed to do.

To fulfill all that is in the prophecy takes time my friend. First one has to give his life that others might learn love. Then he has to wait for world conditions to be primed for a return. Then he has to manifest in the flesh and take on the world powers. All while maintaining the Word of God, which is Love.

Sheesh my friend. If YOU think you can do it better, step right up!

With Love,

Your Brother

Tell me about it. Let's see what happens. Maybe there is a twist to everything. I believe the Bible. Both the OT and the NT were written way after Jesus and the Catholic Church was the first group to have Bibles.

are you speaking for everyone?

people are afraid of responsibility so they need a crutch and someone to blame

lets blame the devil and say we need jesus when something good happens or needs to happen

Well I'm not the one to point fingers. But the devil did his own needs and he needs to be judge. That's religion. What do you think about Satan?

satan is not real

that name means advesary thats it, not a bad angel who fell and tricks the whole world
just like heaven, it means happiness, power, eternity
so we can either be satans or be in heaven
even jesus said the kingdom of heaven is inside of you
hmmm happiness? yeah
you can live in heaven or hell, get it?

tell me this, if you pray to baby jesus and it comes true, pray for all the children to be fed
after all if he answers you he has to answer everyone right?

so god does play favorites?

You must be referring to that story in the Bible. The one with Cain and Able. Yes God does play favorites and that is confusing.

your apostle paul said that god is no respecter of persons

so who is lying?

after all god lets rain for on the just and unjust, right?

Paul is lying then. Because God knows what will happen before it does. We're like robots programed.

Read it again my friend. God does not play favorites. Cain and Abel made different sacrifices. Basically tempted God to choose between them. One of them had to be the first pick. So, he picked thinking "Foolish children".

After he picked, Cain became jealous and slew his brother.

God picked to teach man a lesson that they should not tempt him to choose between them.

Remember, it is all metaphor.

Your Brother

Well I'm confused now.
Just let God be and let him lead you then. The Bible is meaning less. God is all.

It's not you, pal. You know the carnal mind rejects the things of God.

You have every right to post what you want; and you have nothing to be sorry for.

Go back, and read the post from the person that tells you everytime a Christian gets on ats,
he basically gets hounded from hell.

Of course, you could reverse that statement, and figure out that there must not be very many Christians
on ats.

Don't worry. The lions didn't get Daniel.
It's just a little bit of roaring from those who don't understand.
