Earthquake Measuring 6.3 Strikes Japan

DEVELOPING: A 6.3 magnitude earthquake has struck the island of Okinawa off the coast of Japan -- triggering Tsunami warnings, the USGS said.


Japan's Meteorological Agency has issued tsunami warning for islands near the quake's epicenter, which is about halfway between Okinawa and Taiwan. The maximum height for waves is expected to be 0.5 meters, or about 1.5 feet.

Definitely true.

They shake a lot over there, and small tsunami's like this one are not a big deal for that region.
