Anyone else visit this site? Everyday they offer a different piece of commercial software fro free from the developer. I just started following the site a few days ago but I think it will be worthwhile. Some time ago they were giving away Genie Timeline v2...something I paid money for.

Anyway just wanted to spread the word as I thought some of you would appreciate the site.

The site is absolutely legit, the individual software developers have an agreement with the site to offer free software.

GAOTD why would you give away a program with a virus in it? The update.exe file in the installation program has a virus on it, this is what it tells me. Just be careful because nothing is free

I've used GOTD on more than a few occasions through out the years and at times found really great programs.
The reality is that the software needs to be registered. (for free of course)
You need to follow the instructions to register,included in the downloads properly and unfortunately when you have to reinstall your Operating system,you lose that program you enjoyed.
The most popular proggies are re-offered at times.

Game Give Away of the Day offers games each weekend and is quite fun as well.
