So it looks ok to you?

Cool

As long as my BG image touches just one person, I'm happy

Na I dunno.... if It's not just me who sees it as normal, then I'm guessing, like many others have commented, that some see it one way and as many see it another.

I have no idea but it looks normal to me, so that's fine.

@blupblup -- if you're good with it that's what matters. Just ignore me while I indulge my OCD need to understand how background sizing works now.

do you have your screen size zoomed in or out? Or the font size of your browser? This could cause you to see all bg's bigger then they are

No idea to be honest.

It's fine

And if it looked all weird and wrong on my end, I'd be OCD about it too.
I'm glad it looks ok to me... I can't handle the stress

Just had a U2U and it gave me an idea that perhaps It's browser related?

Maybe those using Firefox see it as I do (as I too am using FF) and those using IE (
LOL) are seeing it different and those using Opera and so on and so forth.

I have no idea.

I think it may depend on platform as well as browser. I use Firefox also, but on a Mac.

edit to add: if I zoom in or out, I don't see the repeat, but at the default setting I do.

Yeah good shout actually.

And as SO or Springer (can't remember) said, maybe the laptop or PC someone is using.
Widescreen and so on.

I really have literally no idea.

I'm sure It'll be sorted by the guys asap.

This is a post for the fact that it's a post.

Done on IE8 and not capable on Google Chrome due to lack of buttons showing (and full anti-virus scan).

Hopefully it's of use to someone at the admin end.

I'm seeing what I think is a repeat on your avi background. THe bottom looks different than the one in your profile. Just FYI.

Thanks for the heads-up

That's not a repeat, actually. The picture is too long to fully display but there's a railing with moonshine on the top just below where my profile cuts it off. Interestingly, in my threadviews I see the railing and a little bit below it as well...

This is all very confusing

I'm trying to fix (and change) my avatar, but when I click on the link to "upload avatar" I am unable to login on ATS Video and I can't register either. I get a message that it has been "disabled".

Now my avatar looks like I want to impeach the hearing pear-top (maybe because I secretly want to vote Carrot Top in for NV US Senator?)

Try getting there a different route - tools (on toolbar above) to pictures (will take you to media.abovetopsecret) than sign in using the same username and password that you use to sign into ATS. See it that works...

Try what Lady Skadi says right above this post

Also keep in mind that if you've changed your password for ATS, it won't have changed for the Media section (unless you specifically changed it there). You need the auto-generated password that ATS sent to your email address when you first signed up, or anytime since then that you've requested a new password.

That's how I tried getting in and it didn't work. Wouldn't even let me register because that function has been "disabled."

Now I'm posting on threads looking like a retard.

Nevermind. Problem fixed.

I clicked that I 'forgot password' and then I just changed the password.

Sometimes the simplest solution is the hardest to see.

Sounds like good guidelines. Had an issue with mine vanishing before, so testing here to see if it comes back, or if I have to tweak things. I can't remember the size of the pic, so if it's too big or something, please let me know so I can adjust.

I had that same issue before, and the PW reset thing wasn't working then, so that could have been your issue as well. Seems great now, though!
