Tried resizing and that doesn't seem to be the issue... this was happening when SO was tweaking with things... but It's been fine for a week or two now, and then today it's cut off at the top again..

Forum bug. If you are the last post on a page, the top part of your post and avatar gets cut off. Part of the change adding the silver and gold banners on posts

Same here. I go to submit the image and it says I have to upload it to the site. I click the link it say to go to to do that, and when I try to log in it says there's an error. I even tried to sign up and it says sign ups are disabled.

Sooooo, we can't have new avatars anymore, it's just under maintenance, or I'm retarded and doing something wrong?

once the upload is done, you may have to refresh the page to see it, i know i have too.

I, for the life of me, cannot get my picture to show up in full swing. The bottom of it keeps getting cut-off. After following all instructions, reading most of the postings here, I still can't get it to show in full.

Any help would be awesome. This is the image, which i've uploaded in two formats, GIF and JPG, size 190x320, 17 and 19k.

Resize the original image in MSPaint or the like to 170 wide by 240 tall (which is the max size allowed) and it will fit.

Aesthetic suggestion: the text on our mini-profile would look lovely if it were centered instead of pushed to the left.

I've been away for a while. I was wondering where my avy went from years ago so I went to my Tools tab. It says that avies now need to be hosted through ATS member's photo site video.abovetopsecret.com... It is only videos. I cannot find a tab for photos.

There is also a paragraph where is says "learn more here" www.abovetopsecret.com... but I get a 404 error.

How do I post a new avy? Do people still make really nice ones?

We can still see your avatar, that option only hides ours from you.

Unfortunately I am not able to make my avatar displayed, although it is a very small one.

By later postings I got the solution:
- You have to click on Tools.
- Then on ATS Upload.
- Flash must be ON.
- Then upload the picture.
- Then click on the picture.
- Then copy the URL (third box).
- This URL has to be inserted in your avatar profile field.
OK.
