Prof. Murray N. Rothbard explains the criminality behind the Federal Reserve System in this short, yet epic, timeless work.

Dr. Rothbard explains the nature of money, how money came into existence, and why the Fed's actions are tantamount to pure counterfeiting. After reading this book, one will understand the criminal nature of our monetary system and why it robs the middle class. Rothbard also digs extensively into the people behind the origin of the Federal Reserve and details how a gang of elites came to dominate the American people.

pointing out whats wrong is only one small part of the problem. Mapping out a realistic, practical way to get from here to there is a whole 'nother issue and will take A LOT of work.

Rothbard has done that over the course of several large books.

Basically, all it boils down to is the elimination of legal tender laws.

This would allow private currencies to compete against the dollar. Such competition would drive the dollar out of the markets fairly rapidly, as we saw with the Liberty Dollar, before the feds stopped them.

i am familiar with Rothbard's vast body of work.

What I'm saying is, we live in a complicated world where actions have reactions, and any plan that doesnt take these reactions and consequences into account is merely theory.

The ability to draw a line from here to there is more complicated than talking about theory.

You don't need a plan.

In fact, planning is what got us into this mess in the first place.

Central planning does not work.

All one needs to do is legalize real money once again and the market will do the rest.
