This song can be attributed to different parts of our world, are they talking about religion or governance or both? Either way it is how I feel about our world and they put it into lyrics. I believe this song has very deep meaning to it and I was wondering what others on ATS thought?

Is this song about mercy from god and asking if we will seriously be eternally punished for our sins? Are we living in a tyrannical world and they are asking god to help us? What is their exact meaning?

It is the job of every artist to show us our world, to hold a mirror to our existence and allow us to see ourselves outside the skin. Those are great lyrics.

I have always loved Linkin Park. The lyrics speak of government, religion and war, at least in my interpretation. Great video! Thanks!
