Any kind of war with China would be air and sea, which the Americans and their allies far surpass the Chinese in.

The Indian test with F-15s vs. Su-30s was heavily stacked towards the Indians. So don't say the F-15 is inferior to the Su-30. Not like it would even matter in an air-naval war with China. The US has more advanced planes, AWACs(important), and far better support.

BTW, if the fight is close to china's coast, our land-based missile defense is one of the best and our 200+ Su30/27 and subs will do great damage. Of course, the ultimate weapon nukes and business will keep both sides from going to war.

I think the US Navy is smart enough to stay away from those missiles.

Your Naval is nothing compared to the US's, don't even try to say it is, because it isn't. The subs are nice, but US sonar will pick them up, and blast them. China simply doesn't have staying power in a air or sea war. A land war is the complete opposite.

Even in the best cirumstances, the Chinese navy might be able to tear into 1 or 2 Carrier groups before being wiped out.

Ok, so a few years ago the US send a couple of carrier groups to the Taiwan straight and now it is sending 7. What doest that tell you? 1) simply a show of force 2) China can do much more damage than a few years ago

the chances of a missile hitting another missile are pretty small.
also you stealth just reduces your signature it does not make you invisible.
hell the raptors just got a radar sig of a bird and a bird does not go at mach 2 so its pretty obvios. also you cant stop all sams ,just a few. when a B2 gets targeted its last ditch effort is to dodge the missile ,it relies on stealth same with the raptor.

Listen the B-2 wont get targeted because it is really stealthy and the chicoms don't have any advanced radar to shoot it down and devil why are you so against the US on this thread don't you realize that if the US goes to war with china we will take Britain with usthe raptor has the radar signature of a bee no a bird and yes the raptor can shoot down sams that are a direct threat to any aircraft is wont shoot all of them cuz some just go up and don't hit their target.

a raptor can shoot sams down yes but it cant destroy like 30 comeing at it at mach 3 from all angles. you dont need advanced radar to track a b2 you just need lots and lots and lots of radar. a raptor can only last for so long dont over estimate its abilities.

No china probably does have what it takes to shoot down everything in your arsenal. As early as the cold war, a SR-71 crashed around the South China Sea. Official reason is mechanical malfunction. But, you can speculate on that

Remember a few years ago the US bombed Chinese Embassy in Sarajevo killing 2-3 people. Some people suspect that the reason is that China supplied the Serbs with some radar which shot down a F-117. BTW, bombing another country's embassy is a act of war and encroachment of sovereignty.

the s-300v can launch 24 sams per unit now multiply the units by say 20 or so. a highly advanced radar could detect both a raptor and a b2 if there was enough. thier not invisible just merly disguised
also yes ECM countermeasures a last ditch effort, pilots use em as a last ditch effort thier man effort is being not targeted not waiting to be targeted.

Yes, China does have a crapload of good SAMs. It's still won't make a difference.

it will make a diffrence considering you wont have f22's in front line squads till about next year.

It doesn't matter if we have the F-22, American F-15Es, Super Hornets, 14s, and 16s are all adequate fighters.

The side that wins in a war is the side that has synergy, forces that flow together and work has a team. A force with MiG-21s, T-72s, and bolt action rifles will beat another with far more advanced equipment if they work as a team.

This is where America reigns supreme, their forces are highly intergrated and work as a team. They have amazing support and the cash to back up whatever they put out.

Why is that smart? You say that like it is common sense? It's not, China might not have much to gain by having their ships leave their coast line but the US does. We have gained much by having our ships leave the coast lol. What are you talking about?

Second: THE US Vs CHINA deficit.
Yup the US owes China a ton of money. So? Do you wonder why? To start we can't legally have 9 and 10 year olds in the US working for 15 cents a week with no bathroom breaks. But you can! Hey how about this, what if China had the same standard of living wages as the US? I think if that was the case we wouldn't buy anything from China. So you are basically making a ton of money by exploiting children. Ok so we don't have to buy your stuff but it's cheap and we don't ask to many questions as long as it's not happening in our back yard. I don't agree with how that works but I'm at a lack to find a better way.

Let talk about technology. China is a dishonorable thief when it comes to this issue. They lie cheat and steal for every scrap of other peoples hard work in the technology field. We have a massive budget in that field (and in military technology) and I think it is more than distasteful for you or any chinese to flaunt this deficit because if you did not steal the things we work so hard on and for than you would not be in any better shape. Well what do you think supplying the enemy with advanced weapons is called? You do not put better guns in the hand of your friends enemy and expect to escape all consequences. Remember the US and China are friends, because if we weren't you would have $440billion in bad debt. You think your country is in bad shape now, see where you are if that came to pass.

Like it or not China is dependent on the US and at that you don't seem very grateful for all that you have gotten from us. Next time you're using a pirated copy of windows or buy a copied DVD or music CD that the original was made here in the US just think where you would be if it wasn't for us. So try not to be so arrogant in your statements, China has come a long way but if you forget how you got where you are you might find yourself back where you were.
