montreal.ctv.ca...

Boy sells his toys to pay for dad's headstone

this is a story that renews my faith in our fellow man.
It is ironic that it take a child to remind us that there is still plenty of good out there!!

Damnit I GOT to stay away from all these heart wrenching stories. I'm starting to look like I'm high(er) all the time.

This kid is a smart kid. And I can see there's a lot going for him in the future.

To save all the money for something in the first place is beyond most 9 year olds.

But to say "No. I'm gonna buy my dad a gravestone" then have the initiative to get a garage sale, sell HIS OWN toys and get the money for the gravestone he wanted for his father...

That's beyond a lot of people, and I can see him doing well in the future, with a mind and a heart like that

Very special story Star & Flag

Star and Flagged. What a sweet young man.

Yes stories like this restore one's faith in humanity.

Not all of us have gone over to the dark side of service to self.

Thank you for sharing.

One kid buying a headstone isn't going to save humanity.

But a good story none-the-less.

Hi Doc I agree with what you're saying. I like the fact more so that people came from far and wide to help this kid.

with all the crummy news we see this is very refreshing!
