The Tea Party is a sham that arose out of its own members hubris. They sat around screaming about how they wanted incumbants out and new faces in. So what happened? Some folks came along and said "Hey, you have never seen me before, support me!" So they did. Then when Carl Palladino said that his solution for poverty in NY would be to lock them all up in prison camps and teach them to wash, the FREEDOM LOVING, CONSTITUTION WORSHIPPING TEA PARTY said, "So what, he is someone we never heard of before so he must be better."

They wanted someone new so baddly that they were willing to embrace any nut they never heard of before and now cannot find a way to condemn the trash pile they have elected.

They're just a bunch of whiney crybabies who didn't get their man and bimbo elected to run the White House. Now they're gathering in groups and bickering about absolute nonsense.

It's actually pretty entertaining to watch Tea Partiers get angry about absolutely nothing. They get their news from Fox.

Enough Said.

Consider them somewhat like Englands Labor Party but with Balls and a Sense of Personal Freedom Granted to them by the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution .

Really, ALL conservatives huh?

What about me?

What about Ron Paul?

Blow it out your...........You are as partisan as they come.

So tell me, did your representative vote for it at the time? Did you vote for them afterward? Would you vote for the other party if the other voted against it.

Heck, I know my current rep did not vote for it and the last election I would of voted for him if I would have been in state. WOW, he is a DEM. But he lost my vote this time, because he voted for things that I cannot back.

I vote the person, not the party. I also help candidates in different ways. Sorry, not a progressive backer, be they in the Dem or Repub party. I am a Constitutional Libertarian. Never vote for the lesser of two evils. If a rep starts voting for removing freedoms, I work against them.

What about Ron Paul?

Oh yeah, I forgot.

The Tea Party is NOT REPUBLICAN!!!! The Tea Party is anti-establishment, not partisan. They are not Republicans and are not just looking to support Republicans. They want Washington changed! They only support Ron Paul!!!!

But Ron Paul is not running for anything at the moment.

Then who is the Tea Party backing?

A bunch of Republicans.

What? No. They must be at least fresh faces, new blood, differeing kinds of Republicans not so entrenched in the current political cesspool, right?

Meet Christine O'Donnell. She has 20 years in politics and this will be her 6th run for office.

Oh, well that does not seem like a fresh new face. Surely she is a different kind of Republican though, right?

She is a far right Christian conservative that feels the bible should have more influence in our laws.

You mean like George Bush?

Oh no, he was a liberal!

But the Tea Party is not just against Liberals, they are against the status quo I thought?

Just call Bush a liberal, it works. Try it.

OK, well they at least must be more about freedom and liberty and democracy than the last set of Republicans we had in office, right?

Completely. Sharon Angel says the people should take up arms in a violent revolution if REPUBLICANS lose the FAIR DEMOCRATIC ELECTIONS in November.

That does not sound all that free. At least they are worried about the common man, the you and me, right?

Carl Palladino wants to give the common man a nice room in a prison camp. Guess who Carl expects to pay for that? Which common man are you? The one in the prison camp or the New Yorker paying even more taxes in order to fund a prison camp?

But the point is, they are the party of Ron Paul, NOT REPUBLICANS!!!!

Of course. The fact that Ron Paul is not running and they are backing any Republican they never heard of before and not one Democrat should not get in the way of the perception of reality.

Well, I am sure someone else in this thread will prove that the Tea Party is totally different from the establishment Republicans. I have faith.

Remember when your little brother wanted to go to the mall with you. He would beg and beg and beg to be invited and then whine about what you had on the radio all the way there? Then remember how you would make him duck as you passed people you knew so no one would know you were driving him around? Remember how you would be embarassed but take him anyway, then you would fight the whole way there. In the end, you both wanted to go to the mall and both got there though, remember that? Yeah.

Hey CIA.

10 entrenched Republican stalwarts were defeated by the TPM in the primaries.

Not one entrenched Democrat was defeated in the primaries.

Several entrenched Republicans like Scuzzyforever, Crist, Wurkowski just a few of the entrenched Republicans are fighting against the TPM picks that defeated them.

The entrenched Republicans like Rove and others attacking the TPM picks.

Yeah, the movement is ALL about the status quo within the Repubs.

Hell, I am even thinking of seeing if the opponents of some of the RINOs that did not get beat, are better than the RINOs. Maybe see if I can help them.

Sorry, some of us have awoken, others will only play the Traditional Monkey roles.

Since the election of Democratic president Obama, the Republican party has been in shambles. The Tea Party is an attempt to revive the party's spirit and to slander the so called "Socialist Obama".

I believe they oppose big government and like to protect the Constitution. Obviously, they are opposed to high taxes. As some of the other posters have mentioned, I believe something more sinister is going on.

In Michigan, the democrats created fictional tea-party members to steal votes from the Republicans, so that their candidates would have a better chance of winning the seats they were running for.

Tell me SG, when was the last time a 3rd party had a chance to gain seats.

Not since the majority of voters decided to stick with two of the major parties and the tea party voters are no different. By the least most voters are honest about backing the two party candidates, with tea party protestors its another story.

Also, the only way to place candidates now is to use one of the two parties.

Nope, nobody ever stopped anybody else from voting third party. If you are to insist these tea parties are counter establishment then there should be no excuse as to why they are supporting an established party.

That is how the progressive/communists tookover the Democrat party.

And when did the Communists take over the Democrat party? Let me guess, was it after the 60s? Come on now, specifics.

The Democrat party of old is gone

What was the old Democrat party like? Why don't you explain that to us here and in meanwhile why don't you explain to us about the credibility of the Republican party since you more than happy to speak nothing of them.

Same as the original tea party. The Illuminati and order of the masonic lodge of Boston... at work trying to control and keep a grip on all the wealth of the country while at the same time and in the process damning the soul of man.

Sort of a two-fer.

The tea party is what you get when Fox News organizes a political movement based on fear and hatred of Muslims, illegal immigrants, universal healthcare, communism, and people who speak, dress, and talk different from yourself.

By other REPUBLICANS! Dick Armey took your Ohio State quarter, gave you a Hawaii State quarter and you gloat about the profit!

Not one entrenched Democrat was defeated in the primaries.

Guess that has something to do with them not hijacking a "third" party to run even more Dems against each other under the guise of doing something different.

Several entrenched Republicans like Scuzzyforever, Crist, Wurkowski just a few of the entrenched Republicans are fighting against the TPM picks that defeated them.

Yes, Republicans are all fighting with each other over which Republican is going to get your vote in the name of removing incumbants.
I am sure they did not plan that out at all. I am sure a little fake infighting would do nothing to bolster your support for the candidates they really want. I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that they were losing votes to Dems so they were desperate to find a way to trick people into voting Republican by getting them to think that carreer Republicans are new and shiny and different from the current crop of Republicans. For a conspiracy site, so many of you really seem to be stuck in a box.

The entrenched Republicans like Rove and others attacking the TPM picks.

And it is working like a charm. You have two Republicans to choose from and you do not like either. Rove calls one a nut and suddenly you like one of them. Neat trick. Kind of reminds me of pretending to throw the ball for the dog.

Yeah, the movement is ALL about the status quo within the Repubs.

Yes, I know. I said that.

Hell, I am even thinking of seeing if the opponents of some of the RINOs that did not get beat, are better than the RINOs. Maybe see if I can help them.

You do that. You seem like a helper.

Sorry, some of us have awoken, others will only play the Traditional Monkey roles.

"Awoken?" This is Amurika! If ya can't speak English go home!
Awoken indeed. What did you wake up to realize?

'These Republicans and Democrats are ALL BAD!!!! We need to replace them with more Republicans!'

OK!

I'm sorry, when you ATTEMPT to cut people down, you should actually be righteous.

awoken past participle of a·wake (Verb)
1. Stop sleeping; wake from sleep.
2. Cause (someone) to wake from sleep: "my screams awoke my parents".

AS IN, "The sleeper has awoken".

Since you enjoy the attack so much, do not bother engaging anymore. You seem to be a few points shy of the ability, to have a battle of wits, so it would become witless to engage any longer.

Do you know what past participle means, maybe you should google before attempting strenuous intellectual exercises.

Maybe you should read more. I suggest the Dune series.

They have a people in there, that may be an apt analogy for the movement.

Freman or freeman or sovereigns. I am sovereign, I have no masters, where you seem to enjoy having rulers, I prefer them to be protectors of my rights. Au revoir mon adversaire ignorant.
