And all three female candidates are some of the worst possible candidates out there. It doesn't stop their supporters from playing the sexist card.

Most definately. I am and will forever be Anti Hillary and was called a sexist. Since when did one's gender dictate what the person is asked and not asked?

Palin is a moron who abandoned the State Of Alaska and is now supposed to be taken seriously? C'mon on now. I don't even want to begin to ponder the hypotheticals of what a "McCain/Palin America" look like now.

We will see a female president in our lifetime (by 2030) but it will not be Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman or any of the current females on the national spotlight.

What is the big deal? Big government sycophants like to have the government looking into your text messages, emails, phone conversations, etc etc etc. What is the difference if they want to start looking into your sex life?

The far right accuses "liberals" of eroding our "liberties" with hastily concocted, far-reaching, unfounded conspiracy theories ranging from micro-chips to death panels..while at the same time promising to actually deliver those insane attrocities they have been fear mongering about.

GOP to America...We will keep our word and actually legislate your personal life! Vote 2010!!

Thanks...I get it now.

i guess its just too bad O'Donnel wasn't able to preach the same message to her parents before it was too late.

edit on 25-9-2010 by Snarf because: (no reason given)

The same thing could be said about people who support abortion. If a girl gets pregnant, knowing that this is the outcome of having sex, then she should be made responsible to bring her child into the world. The same goes for the father of her child. He knows good and well the outcome of "getting him some."

If kids are going to act like adults then they need to grow up and be adults. There was a time when "kids" did get married and have children. They also bucked up and learned how to deal with life. These days are long gone.

To me O'Donnell look like an emblem of cognitive dissonance. How can one argue against government intervention into ANYTHING, then propose that the govt stops young people from having sex? How can she be against gay marriage, by the same token?

This is the hypocrisy of tea baggers and a lot of Republicans -- they are against government intervention only when it suites their ideology.

Given O'Donnell's history, its not inconceivable that if elected, she would back the bill that would ban masturbation and make it a punishable crime. Orwell has nothing on that lady.

Talk about cognitive dissonance!

Just because you believe she wants government to stop "young people from having sex", doesn't make it so. That statement (though completely out of context as far as this thread is taking it) was made as a representative of Intercollegiate Studies Institute, according to the article accompanying the video, referenced in the OP. She did not propose government do anything.

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) is a non-profit, non-partisan, tax-exempt educational organization whose purpose is to further in successive generations of college students a better understanding of the values and institutions that sustain a free and humane society.

And you think this is an exclusive trait of Tea Party members and "a lot of Republicans"? Now that is funny!

Back what bill? Would you care to enlighten the rest of us about this "bill"? Can you provide a link to its text?

Do you recall Joycelyn Elders? As Clinton's controversial Surgeon General, she wanted to teach masturbation as an alternative to "riskier" forms of sexual activity. So, in reality, she wanted young people to not have sex, as well!

You know what? Both sides need to stay out of this. It is a parental issue. Period.
