It's bizarre in my opinion too. To disappear so fast, and yet there's no large sink hole, just that crack they show. Imagine a flooded river gushing fast over that crack - does it really sound feasable that it would disappear in one night - and leave such a dry looking riverbed? And then it returns again. Very strange. I think they should look into it more (if they're not doing already)

by the look of the pics of the first link above looks like there is somthing really strange tyhat happened,
also cuz the fish dont look burned or whatever
so how fast did the river vanish,over night and now its back,that seems strange to me
,but what exactly makes u think,that this cant be a normal accurance only to early
ive heard of rivirs drying up but dissapearin over night,not that i recall
even if it was due to seismic activity,howcome its back now?
thats even stranger and seems a littel to coincedentel
