New intelligent CCTV

I've never been bothered about being monitored by the numerous CCTV cameras in operation in the high street, as there needs to be an operator controlling or assessing the images, but with these two new systems being developed things have got a little scarier.

The new Smart Eyes device can scan crowds of people to monitor human behaviour.

Combine that with facial recognition and we will be heading in the direction of having all our actions recorded and analysed.

How long until we start getting targeted junk mail through this?
