The authorities in the tiny state of Bahrain have released without charge six men seized on Tuesday on suspicion of planning to commit "dangerous
acts".
The men are reported to belong to the strict Salafi movement - a branch of the Wahhabi sect. Some of them had previously been held - and released -
for allegedly being linked to al-Qaeda, their lawyer said.
Although this small country has appeared to be the friend of the US, it appears that it is not ready to remove some of their society's liberties.
