Hi all, i uploaded a video of a lightning storm earlier, i was watching it just now and i noticed a ball of light

At 1:29 exactly look at the top left, you can just make out a ball of light.

It keeps dimming in and out, sometimes its there, sometimes it isnt.

This light wasnt visible when i was recording, i was sitting with the camera during the filming and cant remember seeing this light there.
Also note at 1:30 the light slightly intensifies with the flash of lightning

Not jumping to conclusions that its an alien spaceship, its just pretty odd that its there.

(Its very hard to see, but once youve found it, you will see it clearly)

Hayden 17.....

I've looked at that about 10 times at around the 1.30 mark (& about 15-20 sec's either side).

Unfortunately.....I can't see the "ball of light"

Can you do any sort of frame grab, or offer more advice as to what to look for?

Kind regards

You were meaning top left, right? I see an object to the left

Interesting that it doesn't move with the clouds. Maybe it doesn't blink on and off and it's just the compression of the video.

Anyway, interesting object and, of course, great shots of the storm. I liked it!

That's top left not top right.
No wonder I couldn't see it at first.

It is possible it could be a planet. You know, need the regular time of day direction faced so we can rule it out at least.

Naturally!

It is possible it could be a planet.

I agree. What was your location, and what was the date and hour?

Well it looks like your facing northish if the sun is setting to the west, Vega was up in the North direction.
It's always a possibilty. Not saying it is but it's hard to tell much from the video, it's not much more than a point of light.

Hmm, looking in Stellarium, it seems it could be Arcturus.

It's bright and in a similar position to the object in the video.

Hey there Haydn17,

I suppose it could be a plane flying above the storm ... but because of the storm (and I am certainly no expert) I'm wondering if it might be some kind of 'ball-lightening' ... failing that and depending on the direction it could be Jupiter which is very close at the moment.

Failing that well I guess it could be a UFO ... some circles seem to think that they're attracted to electrical storms.

On a slightly seperate point ... I saw this video earlier in your storm thread and was going to post but got called away ... but I was wondering what the 2 light anomolies are in the tree line of the images ... the 2nd one quite central shows up in the latter half of the film.

Great storm by the way we had nothing here (disappointed).

Hello there!

Unfortunately with the crappy lighting conditions and quality of video, although I can see it, it could literally be anything. It probably looked alot more impressive in real life, stuff always does.

Your poor soul.

Soon you will wonder why you love him...and then wear a Mask.

It is how this always works.

Also, was this through a window? If not, and its not jupiter, venus or a malfunctioning pixel then pretty cool vid. Thanks for sharing.

No matter what it is, its still a great filming of one hell of a storm. Very nice to watch, no UFO needed.

Thanks.

MM

Haydn 17.....

Well thank you!

It was pobably a chemtrail thread.....I get in a huge amount of trouble in those!

I can see the "object" now.....but unfortunately I can't really add much as to what it might be.

I lean towards the "star" or "planet" explanation as per the other members, but I can't load Stellarium or similar because I've lost "admin" rights to my own computer! (Note to self: Get that fixed this week!)

I must say, it's also a surprise to see Mask in here. I guess he's taken time out between the champers & the lobster to hob nob with us little people.

Kind regards
