Tea Party coloring book

www.ksdk.com
Fenton, MO (KSDK) -- Controversy surrounds a new children's coloring book that some say wasn't made for kids at all, but rather right-winged adults. However, the Clayton-based creator says the Tea Party coloring book is selling and fast.

"It's a very popular little book, excuse the unshaven face," said Wayne Bell, the founder of Clayton-based Really Big Coloring Books. "It's been a lot of long hours the last few days."

Interesting.

I am not a tea partier, but I agree with some of their ideas.

Just to add something to the pot, a lot of people did not vote for John F. Kennedy because he was a Catholic.

You really must not pay much attention. Perhaps you watch too much Katie Couric. The tea stands for taxed enough already. It's about smaller government, less confiscation of wealth, and reducing the role of government in our lives. You should really find a better source for your news.

Did you happen to research Republican coloring books? Or George W Bush coloring books?

I didn't think so.

This must be one of those coloring books that comes with colors and the kids paint everything white.

Why would you say that ? Do you think blacks can only get favors and handouts from the democrat party ? I would rather have a coloring book that takes note of the ideals that gave birth to America, rather than have a coloring book where you color all the union emblems, acorn pictures, and the like. It is the democrat party that divides and discriminates people. Look at what they've been doing to the blacks for decades.

Are you suggesting that blacks need favors and handouts?

Slavery was one of those ideas that gave birth to America plus women not being able to vote. Our birth of a nation wasn't with out some pain.

So you say the democrat party divides and discriminates? At least there not targeting a minority {homosexuals} while attempting to limit there right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.... The r party does its best to keep us divided remember that there are good Americans and they just happen to be white conservative and religious, vs the bad Americans that are none of those things...

As for Obama having coloring books, I don't see it unusual for a sitting president to offer them. I do find it odd that they are preaching political ideology with them, but it seems {with a quick google search} that its not a new or uncommon thing.

Oh and FlyersFan I find it interesting that you only posted links to the ones you find distasteful when its pretty clear both sides came up in your search. At least when I searched I saw coloring books for both sides including Sarah Palin...

I bet the kkk has coloring books as well. Most likely any ideological group would use this technique to indoctrinate the kids. Seems like that is what everything is about these days.
