I'm not giving any justification for burning anything- I am totally against the burning of any religious book ... Just outlining a key misunderstanding in the whole debate- the idea that burning a Bible to Christians is not the same as burning a Qu'ran to Muslims.

You are correct in that the Quran is their direct line... I can agree...
How is that different than the Bible? Im not talking about Catholics here who pray to every saint and listen to the priest over the bible.
To a Christian, A follower of Jesus, the Bible is the word. Same as the Quran. They are both books that teach the religion written within, and are referenced on a daily basis by many who follow. If I go upstairs right now, My wife has a bible sitting in the shelf on the headboard of our bed. It is her direct line to God.
